This was our first date night since the arrival of our little'un and we were excited to try this new food venue knowing the Managers from their previous venture at Q Bar and they did not disappoint!! The interior fit out has been cleverly done, it is inviting, cosy and relaxing with very comfortable chairs, a massive improvement to the brashness and bright lights of Coppers. The staff were welcoming the minute we walked in the door and they continued to be attentive but not intrusive throughout our evening. I ordered the Scallops and Sea Bass, my partner the Tiger Prawns and Monkfish - absolutely delicious, all the dishes were cooked really well, the scallops were meaty and the sauce on the tiger prawns divine!! The wine list is plenty, a good selection to go with any dish on the menu but we have to say that the cocktails stole the show - superb in taste and presentation. The Managerial team also took the time to check in on us throughout the evening to make sure we were enjoying our food/drinks - this was a nice touch and it is evident that they are working flat out on making this establishment seamless so keen on receiving feedback!! We had our table booked from 8pm and at no point were we told that they needed it back for another booking, this is so refreshing - it meant that we could enjoy a few drinks after our meal without having to move on anywhere else, and we definitely enjoyed our cocktails as we were one of the last to leave. We know we will be regulars here and would not hesitate recommending it for a friends catch up, date night or special occasion.

I recently ate here with a friend for a Thursday evening dinner, and was thoroughly impressed all around. The place looks like it's been recently decorated, and the interior has a cozy feel all while looking clean and modern-ish. The service from beginning to end was top notch, very friendly and attentive. The food was also fantastic - the lamb with mashed potatoes was absolutely lovely (and cooked perfectly). Having recently moved to the area, Junction will definitely be on my top list of go-to places for a decently-priced dinner in a great atmosphere. Would suggest reserving as the place got quite full, and can imagine on weekends it's even busier. Only downside were the aspen fries as they were quite disappointing (these are my favorite though, so I am perhaps a harsher critic than most).

Came here on Fathers Day with my husband, son and parents. As we arrived the waiter pointed to our table but neglected to walk us there. So five of us had to walk ourselves to the table - wasn’t impressed with that.

Menus on the table were dog-eared Fathers Day set menus. Barely 60 seconds after we sat down another waitress suddenly appeared asking if we wanted drinks. I asked for more time to look at the drinks menu but also if we could see an al a carte menu - we were told it wasn’t available. Again not impressed - perusing the website I saw that the usual Sunday lunch menu, which is £19.95, was pretty much the same thing we had on our visit, but they had whacked on another £10 for the privilege of eating on Fathers Day.

Food was fresh, hot and tasted good. Cocktails were delicious and wine was lovely. The restaurant is very family friendly with a nice open rustic decor and relaxed ambience. Service continued to be a bit rushed and haphazard but they were friendly enough.

Overall, a lovely neighbourhood restaurant but needs to tighten up on the details.
