Stayed this weekend due to working nearby. Check in was easy and once you had got through the busy restaurant I found that the room was good. I have used Innkeepers lodges elsewhere in the country and usually the food is good. I was shown to a table and then told to queue up for a carvery. After waiting about 15th in line and nobody serving I asked a waitress if there was a problem. She went into the kitchen shouted a few choice words and out came a young man to serve.
eventually i was served and the food was terrible and i will not be going back there for a meal again.

Overall the room was nice but the food was s*!^.

Room tip: eat elsewhere.

We have visited this lodge several times, and will continue to do so.
First thing is check-in. The guy on reception was not giving us his full attention, being more focussed on a conversation with a colleague. Once this had finished, he started singing along to the music. I did find this rather unprofessional.
It turned out the following morning that the receptionist had also misinformed us of breakfast times. A complimentary continental breakfast is provided, which finishes at 10am, and the option to purchase a cooked breakfast is available until 11am. We were not informed that the former finishes earlier. Though the waiting staff offered me a free cooked breakfast in light of this!
The room was very nice. Ok, not the Ritz, but a very nice down-to-earth room.
The staff apart from this receptionist were also friendly and obliging.
So for sure we recommend this lodge, just weren't pleased with the greeting we received after a long drive,

Room tip: We always ask for a room not on the ground floor.

First time I've stayed in one of these, hotels part of the Toby carvery chain. The nearest premier inn was charging over £100, so I thought I'd give this a go and was pleasantly surprised. Rooms were basic but clean, food was excellent vfm and the staff were quite simply the most cheerful hotel/restaurant staff I've come across in a long time. I would recommend you give it a go.

Roomy room, clean and good facilities. Arrived in the snowstorm, was supplied promptly and cheerfully with extra heating and bedding. Fantastic staff and service, good food in the pub. Quiet room, good easy parking. Would highly recommend

Located opposite Eden Park station (National Rail) this is in zone 5 about 35 min from London Charing Cross. The Inn shares it's site with a Toby carvery and this is also where breakfast was served in the morning. Room was spacious and clean but the only 2 points I have is that the mattress was too soft for my back and the room could do with a few more power sockets. Buffet breakfast was fine and supplies were replenished promptly.
