Opposite Eden Park rail with trains to London about every 15 mins, bus stop outside with good local services, a few shops etc next door. The car park does seem to get full around four/five o'clock but as we arrived at lunch time we had no problems getting a space.
Reception was a bit odd, nothing actually wrong, but the youg guy seemed to be trying to do two jobs at the same time so you didn't get his full attention. Even so we managed to check in well over an hour early so no real complaints.
The room was fine, clean and everything you need for a short stay. It's not the Ritz but for the price paid the hotel is exceptional value for money.More
