“excellent!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 December 2012

I recently spent four nights at Alizees Morere, run by a very considerate and friendly gentleman: Antoine and his father visiting was also great. I was there with my elderly parents, and even though it was clearly pointed out that the property is not very good for elderly or handicapped people, Antoine was taking care of us in the most gentle way. We had dinner there every night and had great fish from the region, the bungalows were beautiful, the garden a dream. The mentioned climbing is rewarded by an unforgettable view, and the design of the bungalows allows you to literally sleep in this landscape. Me and my parents carry with us the best memories and would recommend it very much.

Room Tip: If you dont mind climbing, ask for a bungalow on the higher levels. You will have a great view!

The staff is great, the views are amazing, the food is good as well. Internet slow, doesn't always work. From what we've managed to see, this is the best place to stay at Boipeba, it's situated at a nice, alternative, quiet beach. Lots of climbing but you get an amazing view in return. We wholeheartedly recommend. The rooms are simple but with eye for detail. No tv, but we didn't mind. No airco in the room we stayed at, but we also didn't mind. Overall one of the loveliest places we've been to in Brazil, for sure!

Room Tip: Bungalows 1 to 7 have the best views, but no aircon I believe. Also the most climbing, but you get a...

I was there in february and it was incredible. The hotel, the attention...all the calm in the place. If you want to rest in a beatufil beach, in a wonderful hote is here in Alizees Morere. It is not cheap is about 200Usd /night but it worth. There is no TV if you are addicted and no air conditioner, it is supposed that de Alizees breeze warms you at night.
I recommend you to go there if you like calm places and to enjoy nature.

Room Tip: Rooms on the top are better because of the view.

Alizees is a beautiful hotel at Morere Beach, Boipeba Island (Bahia State in Brazil). Morere does not have a busy night life and is perfect for couples or groups of friends who want to enjoy nature, good, healthy seafood, walks, boat trips and diving during the day.
In Alizees, we stayed on bungalows on the hill (walking up and down was good exercise) with great sea views in the middle of lush gardens. Breakfast is delicious, full of local food, fruit, yoghurt, great coffee (we Brazilians are very fussy about it), bread and so on. Bungalows and the main lobby are low key but beautifully decorated and mingle well with the scenery. Service staff are nice all the time and very helpful in contacting tour and transportation operators. There is free wi-fi in the lobby.

My wife and I stayed at Alizees for a few days in early January on our honeymoon and it was amazing. It's in the village of Morere which is a 25 min tractor ride from the main town on Boipeba. Most of the places to stay are in the main town but we are so happy that we stayed in Morere - it is a very relaxed village with just 2-3 pousadas and a few bars and restaurants on the beach.

Alizees was great. The bungalows are up on the hill so you have to walk up a few min to get to them, but once there the views are amazing. Definitely the best views on the whole island. The photos on their website don't do it justice. The food was great and Isabelle and Antony were great hosts.
Alizees is more expensive than a lot of the pousadas on the island but we thought it was totally worth it in every way - particularly for the views.
