“Definitely the place to stay, great location”
Reviewed 22 September 2014 for a stay in September 2014

We really enjoyed our trip and the cottage, Fiorna was very helpful indeed and always replied on time to all our emails and questions. The cottage is properly equipped, great facilities, perfect location to explore the Cairngorm's national park and its surroundings. There is plenty of wood for the wood burner, central heating, internet , moviews, games and basic drinks such as coffee and tea are provided. I would just advise to get an extra frying pan and maybe one more sauce pan to the kitchen.
The cottage is very quiet so a nice place to rest and relax.

Hi Federico, thank your for your review and I'm glad you had a great stay and enjoyed the cottage so much. Thanks also for your help in mentioning the faulty pan in the kitchen, which I've now replaced for future guests to use.
I do hope we can welcome you back again. All the very best, Fiona

“Amazing High life in the Highlands which felt like home-from-home!”
Reviewed 26 December 2013 for a stay in December 2013

We spent 5 magical days at the cottage in Laggan and experienced the Highlands at it's best with perfect snow, beautiful views and amazing things for the 5 year old twin boys to enjoy including the Santa steam train from Aviemore, Reindeer feeding, Wildlife Safari and not forgetting plenty of sledging and snowball attacks. Already booked for Summer anticipating quad bike adventures and bike tours finishing the day with crisp BBQ sausages.....

“Christmas wonderland - perfect family cottage in stunning location”

Corrie Bhuie cottage was the perfect place to stay for our family Christmas. In the cottage there was something for everyone from five year old grandchildren, active 40-something's & grandparents. The children especially loved their bedroom - the 'den' - so they could play with their toys and watch DVDs without interruption from the 'boring' grown-ups!!! We cooked Christmas Day dinner and all the meals in the very well equipped kitchen and enjoyed lovely meals together around the dining table, with the log fire blazing away.

The weather outside was snowy and yet we always felt cosy and warm in the cottage. The local area has loads of things to see and do and was great for walks and sledging - Loch Laggan beach being a real highlight for the stunning scenery. We took trips into Aviemore to feed the Reindeer and a trip on the Strathspey steam railway which were experiences we'll never forget.

Looking forward to coming back again very soon...

“Delightful cottage in glorious setting”
Reviewed 19 October 2013 for a stay in October 2013

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this charming, cosy cottage. It is superbly equipped with all essentials, including the comfiest beds we have slept in. The scenery around Laggan is glorious. The beach is a total surprise with its huge expanse of silver, fresh water sand and stunning view across the loch towards the mountains and the castle where “Monarch of the Glen” was filmed. Laggan village itself is incredibly quiet and well suited to a rural escape but nearby lie all the attractions and bustle of Aviemore and the Cairngorm National Park. The kids loved the Landmark Forest Adventure Park believing it to be the best theme park they have ever visited. They were fascinated by the Highland Folk Museum in Newtonmore which, like many of the local attractions, is free. After our short break, there remains so much still to be done in this area that the kids are itching to get back.
