We stayed for two nights in June it is a wonderful hotel in fantastic grounds. We stayed in a suite which was huge with antique furniture & views to die for, it was so lovely to sit in the antique chairs & just admire the view from the window. There was a great coffee machine in the room, can't remember what it was called but it made great coffee. One small complaint, the bathroom was huge but badly designed, the shower was vey small & the shower door opened practically on to the toilet when there was plenty of room to have a double shower in there , I did point this out to the receptionist when we were leaving & she agreed with me but did say that they were getting round to refurbishing all the rooms so hopefully they might redesign it.
We ate in the restaurant one night & the bar the next night both of which were good.We had breakfast in another room, breakfast was fresh cooked & again was very nice.
All the staff were extremely friendly & helpful especially the receptionist who gave us good advice where to ride our bikes, it was lovely to be able to ride our bikes straight from the hotel & through the forest without having to go on any main roads.
Will definitely stay again if we visit Norfolk again.More
