Very impressed with the Aria, clean, modern and the rooms are huge.
We stayed in the spa suite, very much like a small apartment, in my wifes words " I could live in this".
Another plus is the bed, we have travelled a lot and this is the only place that my wife has said she actually liked the bed.
The hotel has plenty of secure parking and for underground parking its not a squeeze.

The hotel would be a 20 min walk from Dickson, so on a winters night it will get cold.
Dickson has a wealth of restaurants, a great place to walk around to decide what your next meal will be.
With the car the hotel is not far from most attractions, once you learn the layout of the road system.
I'd recommend this hotel.

Booked into this hotel for an overnighter on the way to the snow and was pleasantly surprised. I chose this hotel based on Tripadvisor reviews but was wary that it was going to be too cold and soulless as described, but thought I could put up with that for a night!
It is quite minimalistic but it feels like they've pared down the things that a lot of us don't need and get charged for. There is no mini-bar unless you book it in advance, and the bathroom products are just what you need and no more.
The reception staff are friendly and helpful but it was the restaurant that was the stand out. I ordered dinner to be delivered (room service in everything but name!) and it was delicious and arrived promptly. Again the staff were wonderful and friendly and I felt very looked after.
I can happily recommend this hotel.

I stayed in a one-bedroom apartment which was all new, modern, functional and comfortable, with a kitchen, lounge suite and dining table in the main room and the bed separate. Service at Reception was helpful. I would definitely return.

We recently stayed at Aria Hotel for one night. Upon arrival we were upgraded to a one bedroom apartment. Apartment is modern, clean and large with seperate bedroom, large lounge area, two tv's, huge bathroom with large shower. Another plus is free secure car parking. Highly reccommend this hotel - it is the only place we stay at when in Canberra.

What a great Hotel, apartment , actually. We took up an online offer we could not refuse. having decided to stopover in Canberra after 2 weeks in snowy mountains, to watch Rugby Super 15 game at Camberra Stadium, location was perfect. apartments were virtually brand new. Layout was wonderful, decor was immaculate, appliances and fittings great. By far the best apartment we have stayed in. In great location, only 2 kl from centre of town, and very central for most of Canberra attractions.
Apartments are connected by covered walkway to Pavillion Hotel and any purchases, drinks meals etc, can be charged back to room. There is a takeaway menu in room from Hotel also. meals are very reasonable, most mains are under $20.

There is a huge restaurant area in Dickson. Follow signs to Dickson shops, just 2 streets off Northbourne Ave, and about 2 klms from Aria Hotel. We got takeaway from Rubys Chinese Restaurant and took back to room.

Good cafe in foyer of Aria to buy snacks etc for brekky, open 6.30 to 10.00 I think!!!

apartment had full laundry set up, two flat screen large TVs, balcony, living area and dining area.

As I have already commented, best apartment we have stayed in, and hope to return

Room Tip: We were on 6 floor and had good views of Canberra.

My husband, 1 year old and I stayed at this hotel last week and we were very impressed with the customer service as well as the quality of the rooms.

I booked a last minute special deal and phoned prior to the booking as I had a couple of questions. I spoke with Josie (?) who was nothing but polite, helpful and very reassuring. She arranged a cot and really quiet room for us, which was fabulous.

We only stayed for a short time, but we were very impressed and will definately stay there again.

Room Tip: This is located on the outside of Dickson, so it takes about 15 mins to walk to Dickson shops. Walki...

The Aria Hotel is head and shoulders above the other old and tired apartment facilities in the nations capital. Having stayed in a number of establishments previously the Aria is by far the best. Well designed, modern and very quiet it is ideal if you are after a one or two bedroom apartment. It offers free underground parking and has excellent security. Highly recommended.
