We stayed 5 nights in a 1-bedroom apartment, felt shiny and new. Good quality appliances, super quiet dishwasher, really comfy bed and nice shower. 10 min walk to food district, 25 min walk to city. Under cover parking good in sub zero winter nights. Staff friendly. Internet expensive. We would definitely go back again.

Room Tip: One bedroom apartment good for a week stay, well equipped for cooking, washing etc if you need to.

Aria is spotless, clean with cheery informative reception folks. Check to confirm correct booking matches with your payment. Rain shower was excellent, bed very comfortable. No worries about using items in the fridge as it is empty of temptations apart from a small milk for your provided packets of instant "coffee". Reception advised on some terrific food just along the road (3 mins drive) in Dickson. Dickson Noodles had a delicious menu with crowds on a Tuesday night. 5 star food for cheap. BYO. On the corner Cape & Woolley Sts Dickson in the more expensive "Belluci's for dessert of peanut butter ice cream. Also full of happy Canberra diners. It's a fair walk into downtown along Northbourne Avenue. Maybe 20 minutes. Great coffee at lonsdalestreetroasters.com on Lonsdale Street at 7 Lonsdale St, Braddon which is almost to the city centre a couple of streets off Northbourne. The morning cafe is fairly bland when there are so many good breakfast places closer to town.

Room Tip: Views aren't that good. Traffic noise is minimal. Service is friendly and efficient.

I stayed in an Aria room which was smaller than I expected, with a bit too much furniture for such a small space. It's OK for one person who is out most of the day but for a couple it would be pretty squeezy. There is a small balcony, which is nice if you like some fresh air.
The bed is comfortable (as long as you don't roll onto the bump in the middle where the two single beds join), and the furniture is new.

The hotel seems to be located in a bit of a dead spot, there is nothing around that I could see. If you have a car then it would be fine, but without it you are pretty stuck. Maybe that goes for most of Canberra though?

Room service was a complete shambles - a very reasonable sounding 30 minute wait turned into over 1 hour 40 mins with multiple phone calls and several promises of "on it's way". It's not as though I ordered a whole slow roasted pig... just a salad! The reception staff were apologetic and didn't charge for the meal... but that really doesn't help when you are tired and hungry. When it finally arrived it was fairly average food in a takeaway box. If you want to eat when you are here, may I suggest you get a pizza delivered.

The only breakfast option on site is a tiny cafe with muffins etc, cash only. No room service breakfast.

I think I'll try somewhere different next time.

We recently had a Saturday night here, was unexpectedly upgraded which was lovely. Room was perfect, clean and tidy. My only minor niggle is that more water pressure would have been nice, but what was there was adequate. The bed was amazing. Will definitely stay here again and recommend it.

I really enjoyed this apartment / hotel. The one bedroom apartment was spacious, clean and quite, with all the amenities that one would require for a few days. I was here as a tourist for 6 days and it was good to come back to an apartment and relax. The staff on the front desk were helpful and courteous. I could find no fault with this apartment / hotel and would happily stay here again. If there is one slight draw back with this property, it is it's location, having that said, most people would hire a car to get around Canberra ( which negates the issues ) and there is plenty of safe undercover parking at this hotel.
