Once again a very enjoyable stay at the Hyatt.
Excellent front desk, excellent guys at the front door.
They just never forget you and welcome you back.
Won't move to Canberra because we wouldn't be staying at the Hyatt.
Linda is exceptional with her cleaning and really makes sure even the sheets are ironed properly.
I just keep repeating myself.
See you again next month.

Stayed one night to see Gold Inca exhibition at the national Gallery. Great quality and location to the Gallery. Breakfast in the cafe is great-lots of choice and fresh.

If you can find the $ and are only in town for a few nights, I'd suggest you lash out and stay here.

Room Tip: There are no bad rooms! Stayed here a few time on business and it is all great quality.

This is a charming place with character, full of really polite helpful staff. The rooms are large and comfortably furnished, the amenities are great including gym, tennis, aqua aerobics etc... The cocktail bar is a nice place to start an evening and I would recommend the lychee caprioska and after all that the price (considering its in the 5 star category) is very reasonable especially when compared to other hotel prices in Canberra.

read a bucket list suggestion to be a tourist in the city you live. So we booked the best and stayed at the Hyatt it has so much history (for Canberra) and the way it is tastefully furnished.

we had the Easter special. two nights accommodation with breakfast and a huge hamper. Everything was great from check in to check out. Rooms were spacious, the breakfast buffet had some great quality delights as you would expect and the hamper was exquisite

thank you for a great stay whilst we recharged the batteries

Room Tip: we had room 227 king size bed and quiet

Enjoyed afternoon tea here in this wonderful Art Deco hotel in the centre of Canberra. Lovely, relaxed and comfortable atmosphere in luxurious surroundings. Only little fault was the service which seemed to have been provided by "student" staff and was, therefore, somewhat erratic.

Otherwise was thoroughly satisfied by our visit and would gladly return again.

Great stay at this old beauty.Rooms beautifully kept, bonus balcony to relax. We stayed here for the running festival. Conveniently close to all the action. Our room on the third floor delivered everything we wanted, the only downside being the party noise from the banquet rooms below. Especially the smokers in court yard area.sound travels!!!.Overall a lovely place.Would stay here again but would request a quiet room away from the banquet area.

The foyer was nice, and room/bathroom lovely, as you'd expect of this standard of hotel.

The hallways were a bit dated and you had to walk past the dining area which either had strong fish or curry odours when we were there - not pleasant.

However the worst was the noise. We were in room 225 on the ground level. Having to be up at 5:30am for the running festival (as with a lot of other guests) we went to bed at 10pm. Loud music from the downstairs function room was audible at a level that we could not get to sleep. I tried to block the room door with pillows but the noise seemed to be coming through the floor. Knowing that Canberra was flooded with runners and accommodation scarce I didn't bother with trying for another room and it eventually stopped sometime after we tossed and turned for at least an hour. On checkout when we were asked how our stay was we mentioned the noise and the staff member indicated that this was a common complaint. Not good at all for a supposed top hotel.
