Camellia is a welcome new addition to the Manuka scene, with delicious food and genuine, friendly service. In Canberra you can pay almost any price for any quality of food - it can be very hit and miss. Camellia is well-priced and the food is great: tasty, fresh and good portion sizes! Sri Lankan cuisine is a bit of a newcomer to Canberra, but I like it more than Indian because it has less oil and spice, and more delicate flavours. The service at Camellia is also a nice change from some of the 'snobbier' Manuka eateries. The chef came out and greeted us, we were offered free rice on the house when the server noticed my friend eating the dal right out of the bowl (well, it was delicious), and we got a free welcome drink! Try the string hoppers and the wandu for dessert. Yum! I'll be back.
