We spent a weekend at Oxley Court which in overall terms was good value for money. The location was great and the rooms were very clean and spacious. The decor is a bit dated and the toilet not being separate from the bathroom was a bit annoying, but even so still fine. The only negative was the amount of noise that came from the apartment above us. The occupant rose at 5.00am each morning and when they got up we were all awake too. We could hear evey footstep and and every drop of water that came through the pipes. Very annoying! I won't stay there again unless I can get a top floor apartment.

Room Tip: Ask for a top floor apartment as all the noise travels down

Stayed here two nights with a friend last week. It is very conveniently located a short walk to Kingston and Manuka and Telopea Park. It was very well appointed, very comfortable beds. We didn't use the kitchen or laundry. Large living/dining room. Very clean. A negative was we were close to the parking area and a neighbour made a lot of noise getting his car started at 5am but this was not the establishments fault. It's a shame that the entry is via the ugly parking area so when possible walk through the lovely garden area. The reception was not open when we arrived during the hours they advertise but we did receive a SMS with instructions.

I wasn't in my room much, but it was in nice condition and very spacious. There was also a washer and dryer which would have been useful if I was staying more than a week. There was also a great big balcony overlooking the oval (cricket pitch) across the street. I got all my work done at the comfortable desk. Very relaxed feel.

Stayed here last weekend - we had a 2 bedroom apartment on the top floor (apartment 33). It was great - the area is a short walk to Kingston shops - some great restaurants, cafe's, shops etc. The area is quiet - no traffic noise at all.
The accommodation is a little dated - but it is clean and the rooms are spacious and well maintained. It is great having 2 bedrooms - especially if you are travelling as a family, plus you have a big kitchen, large lounge/dining area plus balconies. TV is new, beds very comfortable, dishwasher, washing machine/dryer etc etc. It is not the latest decor but for what you get and the price you pay value is excellent. We paid $199 a night and when I shopped around this was more than competitive. I tried a few hotels - like Aria where I have stayed before - and they wanted $220/night for a 1 bedroom apartment and the location is no where near as good as what you get with Oxley apartments. Parking is also well organised with a specific space for each apartment.
One of the best things about staying here was the flexibility and professionalism of management. When we asked what time check-out was we were asked how long do we need - the manage gave us until afternoon which was perfect. We were expecting to have to be out by 10am or 11am - but this flexibility was well appreciated. I am sure the late check-out is subject to how busy they are - but to provide that flexibility would not necessarily happen at many other places.
In summary - next time in Canberra I will stay here again.

Room Tip: We liked being on the top floor - (2 flights up) - but note there are no elevators in case you don't like stairs.

My families and I stayed in a two bedroom apartment. It is very clean and the space is quite big. This is a very comfortable place to stay. Also the decorations are very beautiful and thoughful. It has all facilities like kitchen(including all kitchenwares), big laudry room. Also we have a comfortable back yard to have a nice tea. This is a fantastic place for you and your friends, and your families.
