We spent a weekin Sydney for the Rotary Internationl Convention and one of the tours we took was with AEA Luxury Tours. Scott was our driver and was great, he was very knowledgable and entertaining. The one sang we had was due to the weather, where the clouds socked in the mountains, so Scott, to make sure we still got a good tour took on a side trip into the bush through the recent wildfire areas and gave us a great glimpse into the non-tourist side of Australia. We got to see a mob of kangaroos, emus, and other wildlife species in the wild. He finished the tour at a botanical garden with a nice surprise. He was a great guide. Side note: This tour included pickup at our hotel and lunch along the way. Also, we went to the Featherdale Animal Park.

Thanks to you Scott,

Dave Shafman

Accompanied by my friend Harry Panchal, went for this amazing 4 hour trek down blue mountain.

It derives the color from the bluish green trees which inhabit the valley. The walk down is strenuous, but climbing up is the killer. You get an amazing view of "The Three Sisters" halfway down the trek. Prepare to carry energy bars and atleast 500 ml of water as there are no shops on the way nor water fountains.

When in Sydney, you have to get out of the city and explore. Johnny was our guide for the day and as he put it, he likes to hear himself talk. But that is not a bad thing. Anything you needed to know about New South Wales, he seemed to know. The day started with a quick visit to Featherdale Wildlife Park to see koalas, kangaroos and birds (which I could have spent hours at). Then it was up into the mountains. We stopped for apple pie at a local orchard and for lunch (delicious) we stopped at a beautiful golf course. But the highlights were the various views including the legendary Three Sisters. There was a cultural show with aboriginal dancers and beautiful didgeridoo music. The whole group decided to take the cable cars and tram adventure and you just can't beat this experience.

I know this review is late in coming, but better late than never, right. My husband and I took a small tour with Australian Eco Adventures to the Blue Mountains departing from Sydney. It was such a good tour, made so by our tour guide, PAUL. He was really great with all the information he communicated, on the way there, while there and coming home. While the Blue Mountains are special in their own right, the tour would not have been as memorable without Paul. Need I say more? Lunch was included in the days tour at a nice golf club, which we had to ourselves.
