When I read the reviews on Korora Bay Village, I just had to write mine. First the managers and staff. What a crew, nothing was too much trouble. We even stayed and extra week, we moved from a wonderful two bedroom apartment to a one bedroom apartment for week two. Moving to the one bedroom apartment a step down or a step up, we had a kingsize bed in both. The facilities were great more than adequate for a family. I could not believe the main BBQ area, modern outdoor furniture in a little gazebo. Plenty of BBQs music fridge, plates cutlery, just about everything you need. Believe it or not they even have a pizza oven. Choose whether you overlook the lagoon style pool, the tennis court with night lights or sit in the sun on a lovely wooden deck in a tropical well maintained garden. Not many units, so it is a quiet place for a superb holiday. Thank you Steph, Tim, Viv and Nick

Room Tip: Rooms on he beach side are quieter

When I read the reviews on Korora Bay Village I was looking forward to the facilities and benefits etc. that have been made available by Trip Advisor reviewers. What a let down. The 'resort' [and I use that term loosely] is over 5 kilometres from Coffs Harbour so a car is needed at all times to get around. The buildings are very old and while they have been refurbished still lack the comforts of modern resorts and hotels. We had a room that if required could accommodate 4 adults and 2 children, so thought our 4 adults would be comfortable. Not when there is only one toilet and one bathroom. Some of the fittings were in need of replacement [including a cracked hand basin] and some of the facilities [especially the games room] is in desperate need of modernisation. Don't get me wrong the rooms were very comfortable apart from the toilet and bathroom issues and were well fitted with reasonable furniture and appliances. The grounds too were immaculate but the location is wrong. They certainly have a lot of rules too including we had to leave the unit clean and tidy and take the sheets off the bed and place them in a linen bag. How ridiculous - is that not what we have paid for?? And as far as the sign in the BBQ area indicating the it is too hard and expensive to place a hot water system there to clean up? If there is water [and there is] and if there is electricity [and there is] the rest is very simple - call an electrician and plumber.

Room Tip: If you want 2 bathrooms - you must be an owner - otherwise do not bother.

Feedback is always important to make sure we can continue to offer our customers the best possible comforts and service. Our website offers honest and factual information regarding our property including distance to town and apartment facilities. Most 2 bedroom apartments have one bathroom with 2 apartments offering an additional bathroom area with disabled facilities. We also offer 2 premium apartments as outlined on our website which are available for rent to any guest but if not rented, are reserved for our owners when they visit us. The resort is located in the resort end of town where several of our cities largest resorts are located, which gives guests the opportunity to explore the many local attractions. A car is certainly necessary anywhere in Coffs Harbour to enjoy the area fully. It is regrettable that in this instance there has been some wear and tear on a sink vanity resulting in a small crack which does not detract from the use of the sink. Our games room area has been painted and we do our very best to provide complimentary comforts which includes a free coffee machine, widescreen TV, billiard tables, lounges and a kids games room area with everything Free. We do, however, acknowledge that the overall structure of the area could do with further refurbishment but by no means is this area uncomfortable. As with many hotels and resorts, each individual property has its own rules for reasons associated to the property and the noted housekeeping request to guests, reinforces our high cleaning standards and expectations that guests treat our property with respect. We acknowledge we do not have a hot water service in our BBQ area which would be costly to our owners and these comments may encourage us to review this need further.

We were hoping for a short holiday that would be quiet, secluded and enjoyable for the whole family (two teens included). Korora Bay Village Resort did not disappoint. The rooms were perfect and the entire unit was spotless upon arrival. The resort games room was a hit for all (especially the room dedicated to the over 18s).

The staff were incredibly accommodating and provided us with all the information we needed to utilise the resort facilities as well as get to the local beach. We were even given very handy information about what was happening in the area for the weekend we were staying.

If I'm lucky enough to return to Coffs Harbour, I hope to stay here again. For longer too.

Room Tip: The higher rooms at the back of the facility are incredibly quiet day and night.

Stayed here recently with my sister as part of my timeshare exchange.
Just out of Coffs Harbour this small well presented resort exceeded expectations. Good sized rooms with all the amenities needed in a self contained as well as a coffee machine lovely surprise.
Pool, spa, kids wading pool, tennis court and a amazing outdoor kitchen - BBQ area, with pizza oven, fridges, BBQ,s well lit and tables scattered all around. A second smaller BBQ area up the top.
The kids play area had pool tables, air hockey, video games, basketball and more, the parents retreat had pool tables and large scree tv with foxtel.
It was school holidays when we stayed and even though there was lots of families the resort was quite by 9.00, so much to see int his area that we where not getting back till late anyway.
A welcome surprise was the FREE laundry with ample washers and dryers and all no cost. Book in you won't new disappointed.

As a family this is our 12th consecutive year holidaying at this wonderful establishment. You don't go for 12 years straight unless it's the best!
A great addition to this resort is making it non smoking, myself and the family enjoy the fact that the resort is clean and fresh and family friendly.
