These ferries are the best way of seeing the Sydney Harbour if you are on limited time or budget.
Maps and information to various locations is easy and hassle free.
We travelled after the morning and before the evening rush so always found a seat with a view.

Pick a nice sunny day not to much wind and hop on board one the OLD Large Manly ferry! forget the quick ones indulge in old time ferry sailing.
What a wonderful trip it is to Manly . One sees so much of the harbour and the sites that make Sydney the envy of the world
You also realise how much more could be done around our great Harbour. So many places that could be users for our enjoyment and to promote Sydney
However enjoy this trip and remember how this ferry made its own way out to SydneyI from The UK.
Manly itself is great so a nice seafood lunch then back to the quay on a similar ferry. It always looks different on the way back
A very pleasant way to spend a day. Try to avoid ROUGH weather Crossing the heads is no fun in a bis swell!

The Sydney Ferries are a great way to see the Harbour & all it has to offer a tourist. They take you across to the Taronga Zoo & out to Manly Beach, just to name a few places. Great fun !

This is definitely a great way to enjoy the Sydney Harbour. You must catch the ferry on a sunny day (which will likely happen anyway) and enjoy the trip while sitting outside.
When in Manly check out some cafe's and if time and weather permits (assuming you like to walk) a must see is the North Head Lookout. Enjoy.

A great day out. You get off the Manly Ferry on the Harbour side. Stroll down the Mall to the surf side. Take the Coastal walk to Shelley's beach, right path looking at the beach, then back along the beach from South Steyne to Queenscliff where there is also an ocean pool. Surf at North Steyne on the way to Queenscliff but between the FLAGS AT EVERY BEACH.Lots of eateries on the way. Have a great time!
