Grabbed some takeout to eat back at our hotel. This is by far the best Indian takeaway I have eaten in a very long time! Butter chicken, samosas, Bombay beef, mixed vegetables, pulao, naan- all delicious!!

We enjoyed our curry after some beer at the nearby Lord Nelson pub, although we did have slight indigestion afterwards, perhaps because we are not used to such rich food.

We recently visited this restaurant after it was recommended to us by the staff at the hotel we were staying at. Without a doubt this is the best Indian restaurant that we have been to. The food was fantastic as was the service and the prices were very reasonable. Even a table full,of noisy guests next to us could not spoil what was an excellent meal. Highly recommend Curry at the Rocks.

We found this place by accident when visiting the Lord Nelson pub which is about fifty yards away, very handy!! Found the food to be adequate but not outstanding apart from the tamarind sauce which was delicious!! Had no problems with the heat aspect as mentioned by other contributors,if anything went a little too far the other way to the detriment of the taste!By Aussie standards this place is very reasonably priced, especially for the area, and has the added advantage of being able to take your own drinks even though it has its own wine list!
All in all worth a visit particularly if you get the curry munchies after a few nice beers in the Nelson!

We love Indian food and ate here with 2 kids who don't like hot food yet all had a fabulous dinner. Friendly service and only a short walk from the rocks where you can spend a lot of money on very average food.
We had papadums and condiments for entrée and a mix of vegetarian and meat dishes with the unmissable lamb cutlets (my son still dreams of them!) for main. The Chickpea dahl and Palak Paneer (spinach and cheese) were my favourites but all dishes were very good and quite individual.
