If there was a minus score I would give this place it. Over priced, grubby, pokey, stuffy, unfriendly, everything was crap. No Park No View No Service. DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR STEER CLEAR at all costs. Wasnt even worth $50 not to mention $100. All the photos must have been taken 10 years ago bloody awful

I had this hotel booked for a week for work. On arrival they asked me for my bosses credit card that he had booked the hotel with. When I told them that I did not have it they said I would have to get it in order to stay. I said to the lady what if i cancel the booking and go elsewhere and she said well if you do we will still charge the room to your bosses credit card. Go figure? I did not end up staying there as it's smelt horrible in the foyer like wet carpet. There was holes in the carpet and mould on the walls. Please do not stay there for your own sake. This place should be put out of business or seriousley clean up their act! I ended up staying a hotel elsewhere and it was clean and quite nice and the same price!

I booked a room for my mother and put in my credit card details on the booking form on there website.

When my mum arrived they asked her to pay. When I contacted them to ask what the issue was, they wanted me to email photographs of the front and rear of my credit card for them to accept payment!!

How very dodgy!!!!!!

Room Tip: Just don't stay here :-(

Firstly, I think a lot of the reviews are harsh. Yes it's not the Hilton, but it's also not Hilton prices so I'm not sure why people had such high expectations! Hotel is a complete dump and acts like a graveyard for 1980s Chinese restaurant furnishings that are now surplus to requirements.

Room I had was an economy double, good AC/heater, fridge and own bathroom. For this price only thing I can complain about is that the shower unit was dirty. Mould aside, no effort had been made to clean it. Toilet lid had been cleaned but not the inside. After a trip to breadtop, I used breadtop bags to cover the sink taps so I could use them as they were dirty.

Reception staff were nice enough, and for $180 on Mardi Gras weekend it's hard to really complain too much.

If all you want is somewhere to sleep and have a quick shower this is ideal but don't expect high levels of cleanliness or comfort!

Spent $98 a night for weekend room with 2 people. Was actually quite a nice, clean and reasonably well resourced hotel room. Had some friends that shared a room with 8 people and got bunk bed and dirty room like a hostel kind of thing. Ok overall

Overall very disappointed. Soon as I walked in and saw the foyer.....enough said. The price and the location also means it attracts riff-raff. My partner and I didn't feel comfortable sleeping in the bed just from looking at and put towels over the pillows because they were gross. Didn't have a shower either, very mouldy, trickle of water, towel rack half off wall and it looked like the rest of the hotel...... gross!

Now I'm not much to give a review, but this deserves a great review. Great meaning big, not good. Nothing close to average about this place. Everything is well below standard. Rooms were in a unclean and degrading state, unknown liquid stains on every wall and ceiling. Patches of stains in the carpet, very obvious that it has not been steam cleaned in numerous years. Insects were all over the supplied coffee/milk and mugs provided. We had to kill an unlimited number of cockroaches on the floor and in the bed themselves. 3 doors lead in to the bath room. Two of which can be accessed via the main hallway if unlocked. The bathroom was disastrous, water was lightly spraying from either the shower or the overhead fire sprinklers. Each time someone used the shower, water would hit the power switch on the wall, which was extremely dangerous. The ceramic soap holder we had was broken in half and they haven't even bothered to change it. This hotel does not have the time to care for their customers. Parking was advertised as free onsite parking, but they deducted $40 from the $60 bond for parking two nights. Nothing modern about this hotel apart from the swipe entry cards for hotel rooms. Only good thing about this place was the very nice asian restaurant that sits right under them. But they're not associated with the hotel so it doesn't count. But I highly recommend them, not the hotel.
