“Full day out - but you got to have a clear day.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 June 2014

Booked online from overseas and went very smoothly. Collected at airport and small bus so not loads and loads of hotel pick ups which can be the case.

Rob was full of facts and info and really liked to talk - sometimes his comments were not to everyones taste - so best to stick to facts rather than opinions.

First stop at Featherdale before the rush got there - it was wonderful and have written a review on it.

I have been to the Blue Mountains before - and its always been foggy - but today was SUN and the views were amazing. Rob stopped at places that if you were on your own, you would never have stopped - walked through the bush for a few minutes and WOW - what views !

Stopped for lunch and we pre ordered - everyone got what they asked for and it was really nice food - everyone was pleased.

When we got to the tourist bit of the Blue Mountains, you have a few choices of what to do - it all costs but you do get discount. We opted to walk down the 960 or so steps - I am not the fittest and have asthma,, but the walk down was great and took about 20 minutes. Lots of stopping places and great views of the 3 sisters. We then took the VERY SCARY train back up - I hated it, my man loved it .... but it only takes about 2 minutes.

A really good day out and well worth the money. I wish you a clear day.

“Overall very good time and the scenery is amazing”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 May 2014

I agree with many of the comments in these reviews and will not repeat them here. Rob is a good guy with a good heart - though very occasionally, the content of his running review does border on the inappropriate. He does have a special and amazing knowledge of the area which would be hard to replicate in another tour guide. Lunch was actually not so good. Servers brought out wrong dishes (e.g., beef pie instead of veggie pie), coffee was bad. Bus was excellent.

“Fantastic Day Out & Good Laughs Along The Way”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 April 2014

To book the day tour was so easy, I just rang up and booked it for 3 of us who we staying at the Hilton. Bronnie said that was completely fine, they picked us up at 07:10 outside on Pitt Street bang on time. The day before I had to amend the booking and add one more person, this was completely fine and not a problem.

We were picked up by Rob who is a lovely jolly man. He made us all introduce ourselves and the whole minibus was very comfortable with him.

He took us to Featherdale Wildlife Park which was an amazing experience, we were the first people in the park before the other tourists come in, so we had longer with the koalas and the kangaroos. You also get 5% discount in the shop when you come with Rob, so make sure you ask for the discount in the shop.

After Featherdale we went into the Blue Mountains to some little untouched places that Rob knew. He knew the right places to take photos and he was happy to take them for everyone as well.

We then drove to a tiny town with 1 hotel for lunch where the food was lovely!! This is all included in the price.

We drove to a place where the sold homegrown produce which was great for gifts to bring home to your family and friends. We then went to the Blue Mountains tourist bit where you have the cable car, steepest railway in the world and a walkway around the mountains, this is an additional cost but again Rob does get discount if you pay by cash.

All in all, we had a fantastic day out and I have already recommended other people to take the trip, it is definitely worth the money.

Thanks Rob and Bronnie!

“Very enjoyable & entertaining day out”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 April 2014

I was really impressed with the way Bronwyn & Rob handled our arrangements. The day i wanted for our tour was booked out but Bronwyn was so helpful coordinating my travel itinerary so i could fit my trip in and all this late on a Sunday night! Very impressive.
Rob was entertaining & so informative right through the long trip. So full of information, folklore & jokes. A great photographer & the local knowledge took us to places out of the normal tourist routes.
Enjoyed the Featherdale zoo. The early start was fully worth it when we had the zoo to ourselves for a good 45 minutes. Loved the scenic rail, cable car. It was crowded but what else can you expect from such a popular place. Rob allowed us enough time to enjoy the activities as well as time to browse the gift shop.
The lunch was yummy & it was a big lunch catered to any dietary requirement. the river boat ride was a great end to the evening.
On the whole one of the best tours i have taken. Fully worth the money paid.

“Awesome Day Out”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 April 2014

Family of 4 - parents and 2 older teenagers. Very early start - 710am out on the street waiting! There were 10 in total on our trip - Kiwis, English, American and Sri Lankan. And Rob. He entertained us virtually non stop, full of stories and yarns about Sydney, the Blue Mountains, the geography and history of the area, as well as his experiences during the fires that ravaged the area last year. He would appear to be well known on the tour circuit as we were treated extremely well at the places we went to. The Wildlife Park - got there before the crowds; and the delicious huge lunch at the old Imperial hotel in one of the little towns. The touristy stuff at Three Sisters was also fab, even if there were too many people there! Loved the river boat ride back to the city, even if it was raining. Expensive trip, but we had a great day out. Thank you!
