I stayed 2 nights in April- although the plus is how close you are to Kings Cross, this is also the negative. Nights were filled with sirens and yelling. My room had a view into an apartment across the lane way, so I had to keep my blind down the whole time.
Having said that, the staff were friendly and the room fitted out well but didn't feel that clean.

Stayed: April 2014, travelled solo

Excellent location, busstop in front of hotel and metro just around the corner. but also easy to walk downtown. Room is good size, bathroom clean and good shower. Free wifi. Staff very friendly and helpfull. Very good choise and I will definitely go back there on my next visit to Sydney.

Room Tip: At the front you will hear noice from the street but was not a problem for me. At the back is more quite.

**Warning: Avoid any room facing Bayswater St. if staying during the weekend (Fri-Sun). Many loud clubs nearby and no good sound dampening.**

Stayed one night for a layover in room 202. Had to struggle to get luggage between door and bed to get inside the room. Aside from the entry, the room had a fair amount of space for a CBD hotel in Sydney and a decent price for its proximity to Kings Cross station. Black-out curtains in room worked well for mid-day naps. They charged for wifi use, but had computers available in the lobby for use. Morning staff was very helpful and friendly. Evening staff was ok.

3/5 Decent size and rate for location. No free wifi. Not for light sleepers.

Room Tip: Avoid any room facing Bayswater St. if staying during the weekend (Fri-Sun). Many loud clubs nearby and no good sound dampening.

The small double room is surprisingly great for couple. It is not too small and has lots of amenities provided which is a big plus (especially free WIFI). Most importantly, the price we paid was great value for money for 5 nights.

Overall, it is a great place to stay in Sydney as it is near Kings Cross station and the land tours we went on also do pick-ups and drop-offs in front of the hotel.

Room Tip: Choose a room on the 5th floor as there will be noise in the evening from the bars and clubs nearby. The rooms on 5th floor only have minimal noise.

This hotel is possibly on of the best value boutique stays I’ve experienced… It’s location is right in the centre of Kings Cross and a 1 minute walk to the train station. There’s an electric vibe, and the hotel is close to many bars, restaurants, and clubs. Our room was situated quite close to the back of the hotel, and there was only a tiny bit of noise when going to bed. At 1.30am, the noise completely died down because of the strict lockout laws. The service was okay, and it was a little frustration that housekeeping came to our door before 9am, when checkout was at 10. Other than that, I would glady stay here again! The room is only small, but the value is well worth it. The bathroom is tiny, so as a result, I would only recommend for 1-2 night stays. Other than that, the bed was EXTREMELY comfortable and the blockout blinds are great, hardly letting in any light.

Room Tip: Ask for a room towards the back of the building so that you are off the noisy street
