I booked into this hotel because it was cheaper than the 'budget' hotel I have previously stayed at near Kings Cross.
This one is in the heart of the Cross, close to all its attractions and to Kings Cross railway station.
And it is better in many respects than some far more expensive hotels I have stayed in all around the world.
I give it only one con: the room was very small, but as a single traveller with little luggage it was not problem, and if I needed to I could have unpacked and put the clothing and bag in the large cupboard in the room.
From there on it is all plus.
This cupboard was equipt with an iron and ironing board, hair dryer, as well as electric kettle, tea, coffee, and sugar. Also two mugs, two water glasses and two wine glasses. And a bar type fridge with milk for the tea and coffee and plenty of room for self catering food.
Bathroom small, but shower good and soap, shampoo and conditioner supplied. Good quality towels.
Room air conditioned with adjustable control and window can be opened for fresh air.
Double bed, four pillows and four cushions and sheets and pillowslips good quality.
And the front office staff both friendly and extremely helpful.
The Bayswater gets nothing but praise from me and I look forward to my next stay.More
