Hard to get a table, but that's because the place is just so cute! Tea presented in proper teapots with proper china teacups and saucers, divine. Saw other diners eating the high tea - looked amazing but we didn't have time. Well worth a longer visit and dig through the gift shop.

Thank Lauren E

My partner and I went to The Tea Cosy on Sunday afternoon. Very nice atmosphere, excellent service and great food. Sign on the front door claims "Best Scones in Sydney", I'm not going to argue with that!

We both ordered the Devonshire Tea which comes with 2 scones, cream, one jam, and your choice of drink. I ordered a latte, which was great. My partner ordered an Earl Grey tea which came out in a little tea pot with a tea cosy. Very nice presentation of food, excellent.

This little cafe located in the Rocks is very quaint. There is seating outside so you can watch people walk by or more seating in the courtyard at the rear. The staff are all lovely and friendly. The scones are the best I have had anywhere ($12 Devonshire Tea). They have a range of jams and teas to choose from. There also an Irish Shop at the frotfor browsing in.

Thank Helen P

We went there on the Queen's Birthday Monday. The Rocks Market is on outside and the place is full. We went to the back to place our order and then walk up the stairs with quaint teapots (see photos). We manage to find a table on the balcony overlooking the market. The atmosphere is so nice for an afternoon tea.

We order the Devonshire Tea. It comes with 2 scones, cream, jam and tea. There are 9 choices of jam and about 20 varieties of tea. The tea pots are cover by beautiful cosies (see photo). We were told that there will be a wait of 30 mins. In the end we waited for 45 mins. The freshly baked scones are wonderful. We had the winter spice and the currants. The key is to look at the "clock" at the door. It shows when the scones comes out of the oven. The jam is flavourful and not too sweet. All in all a very good experience. Will definitely recommend to friends visiting Sydney.
