Welcome good. Service pretty rushed given not really busy. Salt n pepper calamari good however rest of meals average. Veil scalapini was tough on dry mash. Seafood pasta with super spicy/chilli sausage seemed an odd combo IMO.
Glass wine tasted a bit oxidized. Bit overpriced given meals.

We enjoyed the outdoor dining area here. It was a cozy spot. The lamb dish was great and the calamari was good. Our server was friendly and attentive and didn't mind substituting the sides for more vegetables when we asked.

After a rainy morning touring we stumbled across this little restaurant. The food was to die for I had Chicken & Mushroom risotto & my partner had another chicken dish, It was freshly prepared and the tastes were outstanding. Our French waitress was delightful & polite, great menu knowledge and painted a beautiful picture of the items we choose. Highly recommend a visit.

Located inauspiciously on a busy city street, but handy to everything, Bona Fides is a real find, especially for a meal after shoping or pre-theatre. Using a Groupon voucher we were given a friendly welcome and happily served by the busy waitress. Eating indoors we didn't really notice the peak hour traffic.
Our 3 courses included substantial entrees of roasted stuffed eggplant and a nicely seared slices of duck breast on salad, followed by calamari and an excellent risotto with an abundance of perfectly cooked chicken pieces "a point". nb Couldn't quite finish the mains due to the generous portions. A small serve of a creamy version of tiramasu rounded our meal out nicely.
We will be very happy to as a city stopoff in the future.

Dropped in for a Sunday lunch with a special "coupon". Food was fabulous. Calamari very tender. Steak cooked to perfection & service was great. Very pleasant to be out of the normal bustle of weekday Druitt St. Would definitely return.
