Owner description: A cliff top coastal walk, the Bondi to Coogee walk extends for six km in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. The walk features stunning views, beaches, parks, cliffs, bays and rock pools. The beaches and parks offer a place to rest, swim or a chance to eat at one of the cafes, hotels, restaurants or takeaways. All beaches offer picnic shelters, electric barbecues, play areas, kiosks, toilets and change-rooms. The walk is not difficult, there are medium gradient paths and several staircases with occasional seating. It takes about two hours to complete the Bondi to Coogee Beach section of the walk and another hour and a half if you choose to continue to Maroubra.

“Breathtaking coastal walk”
Reviewed 21 November 2013 via mobile

I'm a local & I always love this walk, I particularly love showing it off to overseas friends & family who visit, which I did today with a friend from Germany. I particularly enjoyed our swim at Coogee to cool off afterwards. The walk took us just under two hours, we stopped lots too to take photos. I highly recommend it. Take the 333 bus from the city to Bondi & the 373 or the 372 back from Coogee to the city, you will need to buy a bus ticket beforehand. Enjoy!!

“Best Scenic View towards a Beach”
Reviewed 20 November 2013

From any entrance that you start from, the view of the coast along with the sea and residences completes this picture perfect experience.

Feel the wind in your hair and the smells of the sea and surrounds. Joggers are up at 530am doing their runs. You can't help but feel like exercising too as everyone on the trail is in good spirits and having a good workout.

It takes about an hour to complete the walk to bondi beach. Best to go at sunrise as the views are AMAZING!

Hello,

Thank you for the review. Try walking from Maroubra. Start as early as you can to catch the sunrise over the cliffs. As you walk north to Lurline bay you'll enjoy the best views of the walk looking north, all the way to Bondi Beach. When you get to Coogee grab a coffee at Cozzi Cafe or a fresh juice at Melonhead.

“Great walk!”
Reviewed 20 November 2013

Took a UK visitor on this walk and she was so impressed. We took our time and stopped in Clovelly for a cuppa, the sun was shining, a light breeze ...how lucky were we? She had the added thrill of the Tamarama to Bondi Sculpture exhibition and her camera worked overtime. The walk took us 2 hours (we went Coogee to Bondi) and were lured on by the thought of a swim at the end. A dip at Bondi was the icing on the cake!

“Go to Bondi Beach”
Reviewed 20 November 2013

This is definitely a place to go to see how Australians enjoy the beach. On Sundays (when we went) the Coastal Walk is really a very scenic jogging trail used by tourists and natives. If you like beach scenery and walk even a little, you can have a great time.
