Owner description: A cliff top coastal walk, the Bondi to Coogee walk extends for six km in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. The walk features stunning views, beaches, parks, cliffs, bays and rock pools. The beaches and parks offer a place to rest, swim or a chance to eat at one of the cafes, hotels, restaurants or takeaways. All beaches offer picnic shelters, electric barbecues, play areas, kiosks, toilets and change-rooms. The walk is not difficult, there are medium gradient paths and several staircases with occasional seating. It takes about two hours to complete the Bondi to Coogee Beach section of the walk and another hour and a half if you choose to continue to Maroubra.

“Definitely a good day activity in Sydney”
Reviewed 27 July 2014

I did the Bondi to Cougee roundtrip walk last Tuesday. The trip took about 3.5 hours with a stop off in Coogee for a drink and pauses for photos. This is a great walk that will remind Americans of a walk along the ocean in La Jolla. There were many great views along the way. The entire walk is on sidewalk with some stairs, mostly climbing up from Bondi. Bring your sunscreen.

You take the 333 bus from the CBD. You need to buy a prepaid ticket, which are available at most convenience stores. You cannot buy a ticket on the bus. I imagine you could get off and on during the trip, but I did not. if the weather is good, you'll love this walk.

“A Different Planet”
Reviewed 26 July 2014

We missed our tour to the blue mountain and went for the walk instead and we were soo glad we did it ... it was partially cloudy afternoon and the reflection of the sunlight on the clouds and the see gave an out of this world lightling to these amazing beaches that the walk covers , I felt I was in a different planet. Its so lovely how the different styles of houses are scattered around those beaches ..makes you want to own one of them.

“Oh my we are so lucky to have this on our doorstep”
Reviewed 26 July 2014

As Four friends aiming to walk from the city Cronulla.this stretch is part of our walk. So beautiful..great during the winter months..you might spot a whale. Take a back pack stop to eat overlooking the ocean. Can get busy..because everyone wants to make the most of this great free activity. Enjoy
