Owner description: A cliff top coastal walk, the Bondi to Coogee walk extends for six km in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. The walk features stunning views, beaches, parks, cliffs, bays and rock pools. The beaches and parks offer a place to rest, swim or a chance to eat at one of the cafes, hotels, restaurants or takeaways. All beaches offer picnic shelters, electric barbecues, play areas, kiosks, toilets and change-rooms. The walk is not difficult, there are medium gradient paths and several staircases with occasional seating. It takes about two hours to complete the Bondi to Coogee Beach section of the walk and another hour and a half if you choose to continue to Maroubra.

“Lovely beach walk, try in Nov for Sculptures by the Sea”
Reviewed 28 July 2014 via mobile

At the end of every year, the Bondi to Coogee walk is transformed into the Sculptures by the Sea exhibition. The walk is great to do at any other time, it's just a bit more special when the exhibition is on, combining art and the magnificent views.

Must see.

Hello,

Thank you for the review. The sculpture by the sea exhibition transforms the Bondi to Tamarama walk into an open air gallery at the end of October for three weeks.

“Beauty and worth the walk”
Reviewed 27 July 2014

We walk this track often when we are in Sydney. It can be a leisurely stroll (with some steps) and you can make it as challenging as you like, the walk can be joined at many suburbs, Coogee, Bronte, Clovelly Tamarama & Bondi. I highly recommend it, the views are perfect and in October there are sculptures by the sea to enjoy.

“Definitely a good day activity in Sydney”
Reviewed 27 July 2014

I did the Bondi to Cougee roundtrip walk last Tuesday. The trip took about 3.5 hours with a stop off in Coogee for a drink and pauses for photos. This is a great walk that will remind Americans of a walk along the ocean in La Jolla. There were many great views along the way. The entire walk is on sidewalk with some stairs, mostly climbing up from Bondi. Bring your sunscreen.

You take the 333 bus from the CBD. You need to buy a prepaid ticket, which are available at most convenience stores. You cannot buy a ticket on the bus. I imagine you could get off and on during the trip, but I did not. if the weather is good, you'll love this walk.
