“Superb location, superb hotel”
Reviewed 14 November 2013 via mobile

We stayed 3 nights in a premier room with harbour bridge and opera house views for a recent special birthday. We couldn't have been happier with the service and location of the hotel and the appearance of the rooms. Our room was extremely spacious, especially for Sydney. All the staff were brilliant- housekeeping fabulous, nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant staff very attentive and concierge helpful and cheerful. Turndown service lovely and birthday cake with chocolates a special surprise. We couldn't have been happier with our stay, can't wait to return....

I wrote a fairly scathing review of the Four Seasons in February, because I felt the hotel had lost direction and did not know what it wanted to be.
I am delighted to tell you that they have rediscovered their mojo. Staff are smiling, service is excellent and it once again feels like the leading hotel in Sydney. I still resent having to pay for Wifi access and AUD 42 for a buffet breakfast is hefty, but I have fallen back in love with The Four Seasons. Still far and away the best location in Sydney. Keep it up!

Again I owe this hotel a review for the 25-30 business stays I've had over the last 8 years. This is a hotel that rewards loyalty and looks after its repeat business customers. The management makes a point of anticipating individual business travellers' needs and looking after them. The internet always worked 100% at high speed, the rooms were always faultlessly clean and quiet, and service was always impeccable. The management made a point of spontaneously upgrading frequent visitors and it was a nice touch from time to time. The fitness centre again is spotless and has a nice view towards the harbour (but doesn't see all that much). Many of the rooms have glorious harbour views but even the city views are okay. The beds are wonderfully comfortable. One criticism is that the rooms are mostly very small unless you have an upgrade to a corner room.

Room Tip: If I were travelling for holiday I'd pay extra to ensure a harbour view on a high floor.

From arrival to departure , staff went out of their way to assist . There was no delay at check in / departure / bags arrived minutes after accessing room / concierge spent time explaining room amenities / no waiting for lifts at any time . One small grumble - WIFI available only in foyer

Room Tip: while harbour view preferred , city view still apprecited

Great rooms with lots of space. King sized bed very comfortable and room we'll appointed. The staff very friendly and helpful particularly doorman. A perfectly positioned hotel for exploring rocks, circular quay and the city. Will definitely stay here again!

Always a great place to stay. Should have free WiFi. Rooms are nice, buffet is great but expensive like all of Sydney. Great location, walking distance to most important sites. We had a view room and had the opera house view.

Stayed here one night for my birthday. We had a nice room overlooking the city, not huge but very well presented. Nice shower and bath, with everything spotlessly clean.
We walked to the ferries and Thai massage from the hotel.
They even gave me a complimentary birthday cake - a very nice touch.
