We go to Sydney fairly often for work, visiting friends, or flying out. We have stayed at a few hotels, but Four Seasons is the one we feel most welcome and comfortable, our home away from home.
From entering the hotel, bell boys and concierge welcome you with attention and friendly smiles. During the stay, staff from Reception, Housekeeping, Restaurants provide professional assistance. Not to mention the Executive Club, the manager Jane and her assistants are most pleasant, helpful, and professional.
The location is perfect for visitors to stroll around and admire the views. We love boat and people watching at Circular Quay. It's walking distance to shopping malls, and office buildings.
Bus, train and ferry are right there for your travels.
Enjoy!

Room Tip: If possible, ask for rooms with views of the Quay.

I have an affection for the Four Seasons group and true to form this hotel did chase me for my feedback - which will enable them to take action so I am hopeful. And to be fair this was about the only room available in CBD at a reasonable rate (during Vivid). (Business rate circa $280Aus).

However the room was small with a view over the road and the bathroom, whilst well appointed with shower and bath was a bit tired.
Staff were all very helpful and whilst it was during a busy conference period I did not feel in any way let down. And it is central.
So good value but disappointing for a Four Seasons in terms of how it's appointed.

I stayed two nights and received an upgrade on check-in. The room was beautiful and contained everything I could possibly need (including a coffee machine). The location is great for seeing the sights of Sydney. I can't think of anything negative about the experience.

As a treat to my niece, who was visiting us from Canada, I took her to Sydney for few days and we stayed at Four Seasons Hotel. Our room was upgraded to a premium double bed room which was spacious and had everything one could ask for -- special attraction was the view of the Opera House on one side and spectecular views of the city from all around. I simply love this hotel, it has the best location for city views and great restaurants all around the area. The Rock is just a few minutes walk from the hotel. The Vivid light and music show was an added bonus for us. Services at the hotel - as always - is excellent. From the front desk to the concierge the staff are very courteous and always smiling and forever helpful. I would like to specially thank Ms. Nancy at the front desk and Mr. Muhit (not sure if I have to the spelling correct) who is the Manager, House Keeping for their prompt services. I would definitely return to Four Seasons Hotel whenever I am in Sydney.

Room Tip: My favorite hotel in Sydney. Great location for city views.

Have stayed at Four Seasons Sydney with my family almost every time we travel to Australia. Mostly for its fantastic location by the Rocks which has a few nice breakfast/brunch spots and/or makes for a great post-breakfast leisurely walk in the area. The hotel is also a few minutes walk away from Circular Quay which has loads of ferries going to different destinations such as Taronga Zoo and Manly. If you walk a bit further you can also reach the Opera House and the Royal Botanic Gardens. Alternatively, Westfield and all the shops you might need are just along George Street about 10 minutes walk from the hotel. There's also a Max Brenner (a favourite!) about 5 minutes away as well.

The views from the hotel are absolutely gorgeous and the rooms overlooking the Sydney harbour bridge and Opera House are definitely the ones to stay in! We've also stayed at the Shangri-la Sydney before and although they had a view as well, we think the one from the Four Seasons is closer and better. This made in-room breakfast especially enjoyable and it was so relaxing just to stare into such a beautiful city!

Note that the hotel has been refurbished recently however didn't really notice much difference in the rooms nor the lobby from our first few stays? (which was a while ago) The rooms/bathrooms seem a tad old and none of our family could have told there had been work done to them had we not known about it before. Service, however, has remained excellent and the concierge team has always been and still is incredibly helpful. We'll stay again I'm sure - adore the views from the rooms - but perhaps they could do more actual refurbishment next time round.

Room Tip: Choose a room overlooking the Sydney harbour bridge and Opera House

Stayed for 2 weeks on business at the Four Seasons in Sydney near the Rocks and it was one of the best experiences. The housekeeping is immaculate, location is near the rocks and circular quay and although a bit further from the city centre, this is probably a good thing as the nearby harbour views are spectacular when you want to get away from the chaos of the city (although expect the hoards of tourists). The nightly turn down service was always done while you're not in the room (you never know when) and while it seems to be a standard thing you would expect, the Four Seasons does it with a difference (when you return from dinner to the soft lighting, drawn curtains and soothing music the room really does transforms from day to night). Service is extremely professional, staff anticipate your needs and you never have to wait long when you call for staff. Beds are extremely comfortable, L'Occitane toiletries are an added touch and overall it is just one of those hotels you want to come back to.

This hotel is first class. From the moment your taxi arrives to the moment your taxi departs everything and everyone associated with the Four Seasons Hotel Sydney, is more than wonderful, friendly, polite courteous, helpful, and smiling. Excellent service and customer relations. Excellent position. Many great restaurants and shops nearby in the CBD and in the Rocks.
