We stay at the Intercontinental for the weekend and cannot speak highly enough about it. Our room was gorgeous with a stunning view of the Opera house and bridge. We had club access which truly topped everything off. The view was amazing, the food exceeded our expectations and the staff were incredible. Nothing was to much and they made us feel special. We will definitely be back and recommend this as the place to stay when staying in Sydney.

This property is perhaps one of the best places to stay in Sydney, having very comfortable rooms and a location par excellence. It's also a great value for money. Some of the iconic places of Sydney from here are at a comfortable walking distance. Breakfast is very healthy and sumptuous

We stayed at the Intercontinental Sydney recently and upgraded to enjoy the club floor benefits. Our room had THE most amazing view overlooking the harbour with the opera house and Sydney Bridge in direct sight – wow, absolutely stunning. The room itself was nicely appointed, well-kept and extremely tidy. The location of this hotel is perfect, and easy walking distance to just about everything around the CBD area. Without question though, the highlight for us were the amazing wonderful people we met in the club floor. The team are fantastic and do a great job ensuring your needs were given the VIP treatment. One individual that really stood out who I would like to personally acknowledge is Mr. Jornandes Xiong. This young man is a fantastic brand ambassador! Jornandes is a progressive, thoughtful individual, with a positive can-do attitude. The Intercontinental Sydney under Jennifer Brown’s leadership earns my highest recommendation and praise.

This is a fine Hotel and I will no longer stay there because of the attitude of the Restaurant "Wine and Beer Co" to my dietary requirement. I am Ceoliac and as a result gluten free. The way I was treated in the restaurant was abysmal.
I asked for guidance to confirm what I could order and was told nothing is gluten free except a clean piece of steak and a basic salad with no dressing. They refused to serve me Oysters (natural) or any vegetables. My colleagues had broccolini and I was advised it was cooked in soy sauce - but they could not detect anything other than steamed vegetable.
I would rate the eating experience as the worst I have had in Sydney since my diagnosis, and most unsavory (no pun intended). This is not befitting a hotel facility of such reputation.

It’s a great hotel and I stay here a lot. I keep coming back but for the past 12 months I find it incredibly frustrating that every time you call The service line from inside the hotel it always goes to a holding message. “Your call is important to us”””.... I often call the hotel on my mobile externally in order to speak to someone rather than waiting for minutes on it for the guest service time to respond. I’m putting this on the review in the hope that they will deal with the issue! Seems trivial. It it’s really frustrating when it happens almost every time!
