Park Hyatt Sydney
Ranked #4 of 178 Hotels in Sydney
Certificate of Excellence

The Park Hyatt Sydney is one of the most outstanding luxury hotels in the world. I just completed my tenth stay here and I am amazed how they are still able to surprise me in the most positive way.

What sets this property apart is their absolute dedication to customer service: from a very hands-on general manager to excellent trained and motivated staff, they do everything in their power to anticipate what customers want. Everthing here is extremely polished and best described as effortless elegance: The level of care, hospitality and professionalism is just awesome.

With that superb service comes one of the most stunning boutique hotels in Sydney: The recently renovated property is a very stylish boutique hotel with the best views money can buy in town. Park Hyatt is a luxury hotel brand and the Park Hyatt Sydney is definitely on the very top of their hotel list.

My tip: Opera Deluxe Rooms are basically Junior Suites that come with plenty of space and the most perfect Opera View. Best value for money.

The Park Hyatt in Sydney scores on all levels. It's position on The Rocks with Opera House views is unrivalled in Sydney. The recent refurbishment (complete remodelling) of the hotel has created a top quality and extremely stylish environment. But where the hotel is a world beater is it's staff. On our arrival we were checked in by Sam who could not have been more welcoming, charming and helpful. The concierge team were exceptional as a whole but special mention must go to Jonathan and Charles who were amazingly helpful attentive and most importantly friendly throughout our stay. With staff like this front of house I would have no hesitation in giving the Park Hyatt a glowing recommendation to friends. I should say that through business I travel a lot regularly staying in 5 star hotels in New York, Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo, and throughout Europe, and am comfortable saying that no hotel I have stayed at has come close on giving flawless service with a genuine smile.

Room Tip: Opera view rooms on each floor ending with 33-40 are superb.

We recently stayed at the Park Hyatt and were very impressed. The staff and facilities were great and the view was amazing. Our room looked back towards circular quay and with the balcony door open we could hear the water lapping against the pier.

The in room facilities were outstanding and the buffet breakfast was great.

Overall, it has been one of the more expensive places we've stayed in Sydney but definitely the nicest

The Park Hyatt is awesome. The service was great. It's worth the extra cash to swing an Opera House view. Any issue that arises is promptly resolved. The pool was warm and the views are wonderful. My fiance said the burger, although $26 dollars, was one of the best he's had. Great location as well. We walked to our show at the Opera House from the hotel with no problem (super quick). I already know where I'm staying the next time I'm in Sydney!

The Park Hyatt Sydney is now definitely among by favourite hotels of all times.
It is located in the beautiful The Rocks area of Sydney. It is situated directly across the Opera House and offers splendid views. Frankly speaking the rooms and service are much better than I would have expected from a Park Hyatt property. The rooms have balconies, are quite large and all offer direct or partial views of the harbour and the Opera House.
The service also was very good. The front desk and concierge were very friendly and extremely helpful.
It certainly will be my first choice in Sydney.

Room Tip: Get one of the opera view rooms.

We checked in a bit early, and though the room wasn't available, we were offered a key to the gym and the rooftop pool and told that we would be notified as soon as our room was available. About an hour later, around 11, the clerk, Lure came with our key. The room was beautiful with a commanding view of the opera house. The design was awesome, with a great mix of sliding doors and panels and a great balcony. Plus, lots of buttons to play with for lighting, curtains, even the toilet. As we were celebrating our anniversary, we were surprised with a nice note and gesture from the manager. What sets this place apart is the outstanding staff, who are there to help in any way they can. Room service breakfast overlooking the opera house was memorable. Also, lots of celebrity spotting at the Hyatt. Yes, it's exceedingly expensive accommodation, but you simply can't beat the location or the service.

We had an excellent four night stay at the Park Hyatt Sydney in 2012, just after the hotel had undergone renovations. Our room was beautifully designed with a great view of the Sydney Opera House. Service was excellent, and the concierge provided very helpful recommendations. We really enjoyed the breakfast each morning. If we ever have the opportunity to return to Sydney, we would be happy to experience the Park Hyatt again.
