“Wonderful position on Circular Quay beside the ferries”
Reviewed 29 June 2014

We stay here regularly. It is great to have an air-conditioned, two room apartment with a terrace overlooking Circular Quay. Plenty of space, service when we need it, friendly staff and perfect ferry transport at our door to take us all over the Harbour..

Location is unbeatable. So close to the ferries, buses, train station and the Rocks. The view from our room was to die for and the apartment was spacious and clean. We particularly want to thank Sarah. It was such a pleasure to come down to breakfast and be greeted by such a charming person. The only disappointment was no free wifi in our room. Would definitely recommend The Pullman Quay Grand and can't wait to return. Thank you.

Dear Saladapal

Thank you for your kind comments. It is very nice of you to write such a lovely review.

As you say, we are very central to everything. We are only minutes away from the ferries, buses, train station & of course the Opera house, and some of the finest restaurants and cafes Sydney has to offer.

I am very pleased that you loved your suite. We are very passionate about ensuring our guests receive the wow factor when they stay, and our suites certainly offer that!

I will of course pass on your kind comments to Sarah. Sarah is an inspiration, and very hard-working, and a pleasure to have on the team. It comes as no suprise that she receives such lovely feedback.

I look forward to welcoming you again soon.

Warmest regards

My boyfriend and I stayed here doe a special occasion and splurged on a harbour view room - it was well worth it as our room was absolutely breathtaking. Often photos of hotels make the rooms look much better than they are, however the opposite happened here. When we walked in I was blown away by how much better the room was in person! There were completely unobstructed harbour views from every room, and every amenity was catered for. We had a view of the opera house and harbour bridge, and even though I am from Sydney, this view never fails to leave me breathless.

The features that encouraged me to book at this hotel were that there was a balcony, this is a rarity in Sydney hotels. To sit on the balcony, in particular at sunset was pure bliss. All the better with a drink in hand. Also, another feature that sold me was the spa bath, again hard to find in Sydney hotels. As mentioned this was a special occasion and was nice to relax with my loved one in here :)

The staff were also very pleasant and accommodating, with the porter who carried our bags up even giving us a tour of the room. This was a nice touch and the fact that he seemed so genuinely eager to assist us made the experience even greater.

Unfortunately We only stayed one night, and as a result were unable to take dull advantage of all the amenities at hand such as the self-contained kitchen. I can't wait to come back here to indulge again in the luxury that is Pullman Quay Grand Sydney Harbour.

An underrated hotel which deserves a lot more credibility amongst the bigger named hotels in Sydney, which don't have the same amenities as here.

Dear Wanderlustk110

Thank you for taking the time out to write such a lovely review of our hotel. It sounds as though you had a beautiful time, made all the better by 'indulging' yourself by staying in, as you say, our 'breathtaking' rooms! Our team take great pride in making sure everything is perfect for all our guests. We are very passionate about delivering a memorable service.

Our harbour side suites in particular, are perfectly positioned for those sunset moments, to relax, and take in the spectactular views our rooms offer. As well as the Spa-Bath!!

I really hope you stay a lot longer next time, and enjoy the other amenities, you may not have had time to indulge in!

Warmest regards

My wife, baby, and I cashed a large amount of LeClub points to enjoy a great weekend on the Harbour during Vivid. The hotel is in a spectacular location. The apartments are a great size with all the amenities that you need ... especially with a 10 week old baby. As Platinum LeClub we were unable to be upgraded to harbour views but were given a top floor room with a good aspect towards the Opera House and overlooking the Botanic Gardens. The hotel was booked out. Unfortunately because of this they seemed under staffed in every area. Front reception took 15 minutes, our car was left in the street for almost 30 minutes, and this repeated on check out as well. The restaurant is far too small when the hotel is booked out. Tables took a long time to be cleared and we were turned away from breakfast before they could eventually clean the tables and have us seated. Again very understaffed with coffees taking 25 minutes to arrive. On arrival we did have the distinct feeling that bringing a sleeping baby in was not the done deal in this hotel ... or perhaps we were over reading the manager's inability to keep the breakfast restaurant 'turning over'. The pool is incredible and was definitely heated above 30 degrees, The baby loved it! Lift access to Circular Quay is also a major win for travellers. Parking is expensive at $50 per night and the rooms with their wooden panelling will probably need a refresh in the near future. I imagine the Harbour views are spectacular. I'm not sure if we would return. Platinum Accor members are likely to be better treated in some other Sydney hotels.

Room Tip: Level 10 is the highest floor. Hope to be placed there.

Can't fault this place at all. Fabulous suite, great service and amenities, but best of all the location. There is nowhere better in Sydney. A short walk to the opera house and views over the harbour made our trip perfect.
