Having travelled extensively in major cities around the world, I must say Radisson Blu has the BEST shower that we've had so far : super efficient drainage; powerful shower head ; 100% watertight shower door ; very clean bathroom and spacious shower cubicle. Nothing beats a hassle free shower after a long day sightseeing. I had had far too many bad to poor shower experiences that I was more than relieved and delighted to find Radisson Blu's impeccable shower, I feel it deserves my elaborate praise. The hotel is also very good in a lot of ways : very clean ; very centralised and u can walk to most of the tourist areas downtown e.g. main shopping district ; Circular Quay; Cockle Bay Wharf ; taxis abundant. 15 mins walk to Sidney Bridge and Opera House. Check in was efficient, room was well supplied with slippers ; all amenities ; iron + ironing board ; kettle + tea and coffee . We had twin beds and they were heavenly. Crispy white beddings. Room temp was also good with a temp control that worked. You can set your wake up call with the alarm by the bedside. Towels were fluffy. Porter service efficient. They also have complimentary ice lemon water in the lobby , and free apples too. Free newspapers in rooms. Spotless glass / cups replenished daily. After all these past decades of hotel experience, it really boils down to a few things : very clean rooms + comfy beds + friendly and efficient staff ; clean workable shower + drainage +toilet; convenient location. Radisson Blu certainly has lived up to its pledge as read on its bedside note: if guests are not 100% satisfied and have made a complaint that the hotel has failed to rectify, the guests then pay nothing. We hadn't made a complaint during our stay cos there's no need to.

Stayed for 5 nights and what a pleasure! Great location within easy walking distance to the harbor and most everything downtown Sydney has to offer. Terrific service from the moment we walked in- arriving early my room was't ready yet. They gave us access to the pool and spa area to relax and shower until our room was ready. I upgraded to the business class level with access to the business lounge. Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres were excellent- breakfast was good but got a bit repetitious by the 5th morning. Weight room was limited but they do offer free access to the health club across the street which was one of the better gyms I've ever been to.
Great job Radisson Blu!! I would definitely return to your hotel.

Room Tip: Request an outside room as it seems the rooms on the interior wouldn't have any windows.

Located closer to Circular Quay, this hotel was still a convenient 10minute walk to the Shopping centre at Pitt St mall and Sydney Tower.
Although our room was inwards facing (purchased as a mystery room at the last minute for a very good price) the room was very clean and modern. Service at the front desk was prompt and polite. Parking our car thought the hotel's valet was expensive at $45 a night, however, this is not dissimilar to other hotels in the city. The hotel pool is heated but much smaller than it seems on the website pictures.

Room Tip: Inward facing rooms are cheaper, but feel a lot darker. It may be worth paying for an outward facing room if you will be in the room for a considerable amount of time.

My wife and I had stayed at this hotel a number of years ago and, as we enjoyed a great stay there then, we decided to book in for a few nights on a recent Sydney visit. We booked a business room with access to the business lounge. On arrival, we were looked after by friendly and efficient staff. Booking in was quick and the girl on the desk was very helpful. On accessing our room however, we found construction happening across the street. When the jackhammer started we knew we would need to move rooms. Within 15 minutes of contacting the desk we were happily in our new larger, quiet room just across the hall. A big thank you to the staff who were very happy to assist with this. The room was very comfortable and the marble bathroom, a delight to use. There was a good selection of drinks available in the business lounge in the evening, although the canapés could be improved. A little more variety would have been nice. Breakfast in the lounge was very nice, good choices of hot and cold fare. The coffee was the highlight though. It was fantastic. Room service was efficient and the food very nice. We enjoyed a couple of drinks in the bar where the good service continued and was quite comfortable. Prices though were somewhat over the top for most things provided. Checking out was made easy and the team organised a cab for us. All in all a very pleasant stay.

Could not ask for a better experience. Our room was a great size with a huge well equipped bathroom. We would recommend staying here to our family & friends. Very comfortable bed with a pillow menu. Fantastic team on reception
