We stayed 2 nights for a weekend getaway. Location is great for getting around Sydney and rooms were very comfortable - king size bed and large bathroom. Most impressive was the service from the lounge staff - very friendly and attentive. Will stay here again.

Despite the hotel appearing to be swamped with guests when we checked in (and out), check-in staff were personable and courteous.

We had a lovely room on the 12th floor. Not much of a view, as there was an office block immediately opposite, but the trade-off was that some of the traffic noise which could have been expected along Pitt Street on a Saturday night was not there, either.

Rooms are comfy, carpeted, firm bed, extensive pillow menu, and the usual amenities such as robes and really quite nice shampoos etc.

Two big bonuses: (1) the hotel is completely smoke-free; and (2) free in-room wifi, something other top Australian hotels should take on board.

Breakfast buffet was nice. Nothing super-special, but then again, most Sydney hotels’ breakfasts are pretty ordinary. At least there was a good selection of breads, yoghurts and fruit (even if the stone fruit were still frozen). Long queue for a-la-minute eggs, a consequence of the packed house that night.

We didn’t avail ourselves of this, but the hotel has a spot-special on check-in on a Saturday night: guaranteed 4pm Sunday checkout for an additional $60.

It's also worth noting that I'd bought this overnight stay in a charity auction. The fact that the hotel donated the prize to a good cause deserves praise, as well.

In short, a nice spot, central, lovely staff, clean and nicely priced.

Room Tip: Higher floors that do NOT face Pitt Street would be quieter, but you will then lose any view over th...

Positive: 1) The rooms are wonderful. Clean, new, and well-appointed. 2) The price point is inexpensive relative to similar options, making this a great value. 3) The staff treat customers wonderfully. Everyone, from the front desk to housekeeping to the restaurant team to the bell desk, is amiable and professional.
Neutral: None.
Negative: None.
Elite benefits: Gold status benefits delivered above and beyond. The welcome amenity was a generous box of chocolates. The upgrade was from a Premier Room to a Studio Spa Suite. Impressive.

Bottom line: Definitely will come back.

This is my hotel of choice anytime I travel to Sydney for business. There are hotels out there that get most things right most of the time however Radisson Blu Sydney lines up all the ducks each and every time. The consistency in amenities and their service offering means less stress and more relaxed downtime for business travellers. Yes it really is a home away from home.

I enjoyed my 10th stay at the Radisson Blu, which as always was outstanding. The level of service by the staff is always outstanding. The rooms are immaculate and beautifully appointed. As a business traveller, the fitness centre is one of the highlights - with a variety of equipment available on offer. As a frequent traveller and business owner, the Radisson Blu is my favourite pick in Sydney not only for the amenities, but for value for money.

Good location, it is within walking distance to Circular Quay and George & Pitt streets. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful too which was a nice experience. Room was a bit dark (poor lighting) and only had a small window, however when I told the reception about this they were kind enough to arrange to relocate me to another room with better lighting and window.

This property is located within walking distance of major shops, restaurants and the beautiful Sydney harbor. Breakfast was included and we were pleasantly surprised with the large variety of food and outstanding quality. Our family room was well appointed, clean and very spacious. All staff members were friendly and helpful. If you're planning a trip to Sydney this place won't disappoint!
