This hotels only drawback is the lack of free wifi in the room but if you ask for a login you can sit in the lobby bar and use their connection. The room was quiet and had everything you'd expect from an apartment (the washing machine and tumble dryer were a god-send. Breakfast was super and all staff were very friendly. With such a central location I'd highly recommend.

A weekend away with four girlfriends staying in a central part of Sydney city in a two bedroom apartment at a reasonable price - yes it can be done at Mantra 2 Bond Street. Well appointed rooms and kitchen however, only one bathroom. Great bars and restaurants in this block - try Mr Wong in Bridge Lane. Staff were friendly and professional. They stored our bags on checkout and looked after one of our party when they were not well. All in all a great experience. Well done Mantra 2.

My wife and I stayed for 8 nights over the Christmas period while it was in a super location our apartment was very much in need of a new carpet and the kitchen area was equipped with the very basic set for 3 place settings.
Wireless Internet for the 8 days cost over $100 and then also watch out for the 2% surcharge for paying by credit card. Most hotels now accept that internet connectivity is a standard part of the utilities provided, like water and electricity. When hotels use this now universal need to generate additional charges it does become annoying. I am similarly unacustomed to a surcharge for VISA or any credit card.

We stayed for the second time at this apartment hotel. Couldn't better it for centrality. The spacious area, the full kitchen and the separate lounge area is much appreciated after staying in some higher priced hotel rooms where just a bed and chair and desk is offered. We shall return.

Room Tip: Ask for a high room away from street noise. George Street is a busy street.

Excellent apartment hotel. Very comfortable bed and very quiet clean room. Lounge room was very comfortable and wirless internet access was provided. Excellent service. Only downside was poor quality TV in gym and one running machine was out of order.

My wife, daughter are currently staying in the mantra Sydney, over for the Carols in the Domain and a bit of shopping. For this, it is a sensational location, just 5 minutes to the domain and in the heart of shopping district also a short walk to circular quay. The room is an apartment style with a separate bedroom and a sofa bed for my daughter, kitchen facilities, lounge, Good comfortable bed and clean well maintained facilities. While we went out for breakfast the hotel does offer a good cafe and a good cup of coffee. For us, it's all about the location. Can recommend for a short stay in Sydney.
