“Great apartment accomodation in a central location.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 March 2012

My daughter and I stayed here in early March. We arrived at about one p.m. and were able to check in straight away which was much appreciated. The apartment was a one bedroom and was surprisingly spacious. The lounge area (where the sofa bed was located) was on the street side and a little noisy, however, the bedroom was at the back and fairly quiet. We didn't hear any noise from adjoining apartments.
The staff were very helpful, even lending us large umbrellas when there was a downpour (there was 41/2 ""/10cm rain in one day)! Since we were staying for a few days, one facility we found useful was the laundry, there is one on each floor and ours never seemed to be busy. There is also a small gym on the second floor and a cafe onsite for light meals. Wifi is available although it is not free. There is an Indian restauarant around the corner with free wifi (and great meals) however.
Overall we found it a very comfortable accomodation option, I don't think you would be able to find apartment accomodation of this standard, at this price, elsewhere in the CBD.

I stayed with 4 friends and my husband on March 12th - March 15th. (3 nights). The staff was great----kind, friendly and most helpful with directions. The room was perfect for our short stay as we did use the plates, utensils and glasses. The 2 bedroom suite (room 1602) had a scale, blowdryer and all the emenities one would need. The only complaint was the sofa bed - one of the most uncomfortable beds. It was wuite old and definately needed to be changed out for a new one since this one sunk clearly down the middle. We did not mention it to the staff for we were only there for 3 nights...but if we stayed longer, it would be a problem for us.
This hotel is only 2 stops away from CIRCULAR QUAY - (Opera house, Ferries, the Rocks, etc.) Museum subway stop was a block up and easy to catch throughout the day.
All in all, the hotel is great and it helped that all the staff were very nice and accomodating.

I would stay there again, for sure.

***Ask the front desk how to get to MACCHIATO cafe - it's only a short walk (5 minutes), and they serve the BEST CAPPUCCINO'S!!!!!

Room Tip: Make sure the sofa bed is comfortable before you claim your room.

We stayed at the Wyndham on 10 Feb for 1 night only. We had emailled that we would arriving early and when we got to reception at 10am we were told we were on the priority list. We came back after 3 hours to be told the room still not ready. We went away again returning at 1pm. We were once again told our room was not ready so we waited in the lobby. 40 minutes later our room was ready. I don't consider 1.45pm an early check-in when regular check-in time in 2pm. However, our room was fantastic with a separate bedroom. The kitchenette was a nice surprise. The staff were very friendly and I loved the little restaurant suggestions sheet that they handed out. Great location and we would probably stay again.

We stayed in the hotel for four nights. We had a large one bedroom apartment, nicely decorated and very comfortable. Enough facilities in the kitchenette to make dinner. Everything was kept nice and clean. A small but perfectly formed gym. Close enough to Museum Station to walk with luggage. We walked everywhere from the hotel, it's in a great location. Would stay again if we make it back to Sydney.

Timeshare resort. Service very poor. No housekeeping, service at reception awful. Small cramped rooms very cheaply constructed. They want to charge $240 a night which is more than most hotels.

What a great place for a Sydney visit; beautiful, amazing price for what you get, and a perfect location if you are going to be hopping on the train! It is a very modern cute one bedroom apartment just a short walk from the Central train station, 2 blocks from a grocery store, and around a 25 minute walk down to the Sydney Harbor. The kitchen is amazingly stocked (we made breakfast each morning before heading out for the day), very clean, safe, quiet (we were on the 10th floor) and the staff helpful, friendly, and professional. We walked to the Sydney Harbor via two beautiful parks, enjoyed the botanical gardens, the harbor, and then did the Sydney Bridge climb before walking back to the hotel. A lot of walking but we liked the distance because it gave us a chance to see more of the city. Because we had to catch a train to another city early a.m. our hotel was perfect; you can check out, walk 10 minutes, get on the train for your next adventure. A perfect stay at the Wyndham Vacation Resortt Asia Pacific; we would definitely stay there again!!!!

Room Tip: Higher up the more quiet!

We have stayed here on a couple of occasions and are always pleased with our room, this time we had a 1 bedroom suite which included kitchen and dining facilities. The staff are very helpdful. The hotel is situated close to Central, Museum and Town Hall stations. The only annoyance was that on this occasion a wake up alarm went off on the room phone at 6am, presumably set by previous guests - not needed on a Saturday morning. We had midday check out which was convenient. We would stay here again.
