Good thing about staying at this hotel you always know what to expect. A well appointed room with deep tub and rain forrest shower. Comfortable bed and a great view over Martin Place. Always great service and professional staff.

Having never stayed at a Westin hotel before only there sister hotel ! Stayed on the 9th June in a club room with my two teen daughter we had a fabulous time ! Check in was lovely and friendly , we where early so our bags where taken care of why we went shopping . We came back for afternoon tea the services was wonderful as we came back for drinks before we headed down to the harbour to see the lights the staff wish us a happy night . We came back later that night and had dinner down stairs . Next morning had breakfast in the lounge which was excellent . Our view from level 26 I think club level was wonderful , a very quiet floor . We had two double bed which was great for the 3 of us and nice and quite . When we arrived back home I released I had left something in the room so I rang and they had my article they said they would keep it for me for three months which is great as we live in newcastle , so today we went back and within 15 min I had received my article . Very friendly Thank you tall the wonderful team . We will be back .

This hotel is fantastic. I really enjoy staying here when on business in Sydney. It is very convenient to all the CBD locations, food and service impeccable.

The hotel service is also very good the only downside is that the rooms can be a little small sometimes but for a business hotel these are adequate and very stylish.


A return visit is imminent !

Stayed again - once again I was not disappointed. Right from the moment you set foot in the lobby the experience is warm and friendly with top efficiency.

Room was really well provided in terms of facilities and its always good to have good internet speed.

As for the location what more can you say - easy to access from airport by cab or train - Wynyard station is a mere few hundred metres from door on George Street. Some of the funkiest Sydney street bars a short stroll or you can sit downstairs and watch the many different Sydney types cross bustling Martin Place.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that overlooks Martin Place - don't worry about the clock it stops chimining at a...

Not that The Westin Sydney needs another fantastic review, but I'd just like to add my own praise for this fabulous establishment.

The staff were friendly and professional, the rooms were immaculate and spacious. Bathrooms in hotels are a big make-or-break for me, and their bathroom did not disappoint. Large tub, separate toilet and shower. Loved the generous sized wardrobe with mirrors.

Had a drink at the hotel bar, which was quite pricey, we racked up $60 for 2 cocktails. Wish out reservation came with a bar voucher! Well, I guess you'd expect things to cost a kidney at such a beautiful luxury hotel.

Great location, walking distance to Pitt Street mall, QVB, and most restaurants and bars in the CBD, taxi rank just outside, and train station close by if you need it.

Really enjoyed our stay, and would definitely be back.

I had stayed at the Westin Sydney on multiple occasions for business but unfortunately have had to swap to other Sydney hotels now because of a chain of terrible mishaps during my stay in May:

- I got pricked by a sewing needle. Yes, that's right- there was a NEEDLE- yes A NEEDLE embedded in my blanket (see photo).
-When the Manager of Housekeeping attended to my complaint, he took the needle out with his bare hands and kept swearing as he removed the needle (he later flat out denied this to his manager and claimed that I misunderstood him- management did not bother to follow up on my side of the story)
-I had to chase up the front of house manager twice to investigate the above incident (the swearing)

Whilst management did eventually reply and acknowledge the incident, it was after I checked out and filled in one of their feedback forms on the above issues. For all the above issues and such a serious incident, I got an apology of some sort, a change of blankets/ bedsheets and a claim by their Manager of Housekeeping that I misinterpreted his words .

This is why I (and my business associates) no longer stay at the Westin Sydney.

The corner suite rooms are an excellent size with separate lounge and bedroom and full size bath with city views and walk in robe. If you are an SPG member then the 4 pm checkout available the next day is great for lunch and shopping, without having to rush. Also the shops don't open until 11 am on the Sunday.

Room Tip: Corner suites are the best rooms
