This Hotel is in beautiful condition, everything looked absolutely stunning, and with a central City location, perfect. The Staff here were very helpful and we never had to wait for any service we required. Our room was lovely, no view though, and we enjoyed a very comfortable and quiet nights sleep, and that is quite rare. The Buffet Breakfast was the nicest I have had for a long time, so many choices and all that we had was delicious. We did experience a few minor hiccups, but they were attended to very promptly, and nobody's perfect. Would I stay here again, a big Yes!

Room Tip: Make sure to have the Buffet Breakfast!

I stayed for a 3 night weekend, and the hotel is as other reviewers state, a lovely old Art Deco hotel in a terrific central location. The room was nice, comfy bed and all the amenities one would require, however the walls are paper thin to the point that I could easily hear the mumbles of conversations and TV noise in the next room. The fan system is also very annoying, and bemusing in its operation. No matter which fan speed I selected, the fan spooled constantly from a non-existent sound to a high speed racket every 3-4 mins as though the systems mechanism of reaching the desired room temperature was through air output alone. I ended up having to turn the system off most of the time.

I also encountered a very slight, but hugely annoying wining sound coming from the roof that had me struggling to get back to sleep during the early morning hours. As I was on the top floor of the hotel, I can only assume it was emanating from some of the cooling equipment on the roof of the hotel, however I can't be sure.

Needless to say, a somewhat potential enjoyable stay was quite negated because of these issues I encountered for which I would not stay at The Grace again.

Beautiful Art Deco hotel only a 10 minute walk to Darling Harbour, although most things immediately around the hotel were closed on the weekend. Friendly staff and excellent varied buffet breakfast. Rooms are small, but comfortable. Views on the 11th floor were of roofs. A lovely 2 night stay.

Stayed for two nights on business trip. Excellent location in heart of Sydney's CBD, close to shopping, business, Darling Harbour, QVB & loads more. Rooms are clean and modern, not on the large side but still well appointed. Had breakfast buffet included which was of standard fare. Plenty of restaurants and bars close by. Have taken a point off for no free wi-if which is a must for travellers these days. Would recommend and stay here again though.

We stayed for 3 nights. The building was amazing. The bathrooms have dated and the bed was quite hard, but the rooms were otherwise very nice. Fantastic location for shopping and very helpful concierge. We would stay there again.

Hotel is right in the middle of where you want to be. Its walking distance to everything - cathedral, restaurants, queen victoria mall, woolworth grocery, circular quay, the rocks darling harbour. Wow we had a great time discovering Sydney and having a perfect hotel location helped a lot. Not to mention the good enough room space and good variety of breakfast food. The concierge was very helpful in providing directions. The only thing weird i guess is the hotel doesn't have parking spaces. Overall if you want to enjoy Sydney try this hotel.
