“The sunset that broke the internet and I happened to be there”
Reviewed 6 August 2014

Dead cold of winter, not the ideal weather conditions to visit a beach but hit it I did and no regrets at all! Would suggest to hit the Bondi Beach area late afternoon, explore the boulevards that house shops [a couple of vintage stores there, be sure to check it out!], cafes and galleries before heading to the beach to catch the sunset. Was super lucky to be there on the 28th of July to witness the breathtaking sunset that essentially 'broke the internet' as everyone took snaps and uploaded their Sydney sunset view and I just happened to be at Bondi. Memorable indeed!

“Bondi is more than just a beach”
Reviewed 5 August 2014

Bondi is a suburb of Sydney, and yes it has a famous beach, but it is a lot more, it is a great place to live and a lot of people do just that.
It does have great shops, cafe's, restaurants, pubs, clubs and parks, it is a high density suburb, lots of people and cars, bikes and buses.
Look at the beach but explore the whole place.

“Lovely Beach”

Excellent beach, but many people. There are many near by restaurants and desert bars to try. The local people are friendly. There are many tourists also. Parking is not free, so best to take the train and bus if you want to save some money.

“My oh my!”

It is really as pretty as the pictures say! Big wide beach with the waves ruling in. Really something to behold are the cliffs on the sides. Worth the visit and a stroll in the beach.

“Bondi Beach”
Reviewed 3 August 2014

Woke up this morning and decided to go to Bondi Beach. It was so easy to get there. I bought a prepay at shop return ticket AUS10.40 ( from Sheraton on the Park Hotel shop any one can go in.) Came out ( Elizabeth Street) crossed the road and waited at the bus stop 333 straight to bondi beach. No traffic there in 20mins max. It goes from most main roads in CBD area and along Elizabeth street and up oxford street and on down to quays. Some reviews made it sound awkward to get to but it is not.If you get a bus to Bondi junction only it is about a 15 minute walk down to beach but you get to look at all the houses. Other buses go there but stop at more stops. It was very windy but bustling with people.Market is on sunday.
