Owner description: Spanning the city center to the North Shore, the Sydney Harbour Bridge is a wide steel arch bridge known for its beauty as well as function, providing a crossing for cars, trains, bikes and pedestrians. While the more daring can do the BridgeClimb to the top of the structure, opened to traffic in 1932, anyone can enjoy a walk for free.

“Walk across the Sydney Harbour Bridge”
Reviewed 5 August 2014

Get down at Milsons Point train station , walk out of station and up the steps. You can walk the bridge from the city to Milsons point and then catch the train back to the city. In the colder months , dress warmly as it gets really windy on the bridge on most days. There are Shops on both sides of the bridge if you want to have a bite or a drink. If you stop for a few pictures and to take the view in , think one way it will be a lesuirely 15-20 min walk at the most.

Best views of Sydney and its all free. Must do. This is not the harbour bridge climb which is a seperate and much more expensive exercisce.

“Australia Defined”
Reviewed 5 August 2014

The Bridge is a much loved icon of all Australians. It's beautiful to behold both from afar an atop, and any time, night or day.

I did the tour with teenage children a couple of years ago, and was left with amazing memories.

See it, climb it, enjoy it!

“Beautiful and Easy Walk”
Reviewed 4 August 2014

Definitely walk across the bridge and walk all around the parks on either side. Also, there is a pylon where you can go up and get a better view of everything---it also has the history of the bridge documented. It's about $15 to go up the pylon (inside), but far less expensive (and less scary) than the $250 bridge climb.
