“Beautiful place”
Reviewed 17 November 2013 via mobile

We decided on a day trip to Watson bay from the main Sydney harbour terminal. Cost is low to travel over by ferry and you get excellent views of the opera house and bridge, almost a mini harbour cruise.

Watsons bay is a lovely place, there are excellent beaches and great views. There is a pub and a couple of nice places to eat. Shops are lacking and people feeding the seagulls has attracted problems but that aside watsons bay is well worth a visit.

“Lovely Watson's Bay”

What a lovely view of Sydney Harbour from Watson's Bay. Enjoyed relaxing at the park and the Gap is such a wonderful creation of God. Will make it again to Watson's Bay if I go to Sydney again.

“Take the ferry.”
Reviewed 12 November 2013

A good ferry ride from the city to this type of fishing village. A hotel is on the beach front where we had a beer then indulged in a big lunch. You can also walk 5 minutes up to the clifftop to see the entrance to the harbor.

“Very picturesque part of Sydney”
Reviewed 3 November 2013

Every time I come overseas to Sydney, I always feel I need to see Watson's Bay and Gap Bluff on the other side of the park. Watson's Bay itself has a great little beach with soft sand, trees to stay in the shade, restaurants and a nice fish and chips joint. There is also a kids playground in the middle of the park.

I am always captivated by the big cliffs and huge waves on Gap Bluff. You can climb the stairs on the left or right as you approach the cliffs. If you have trouble climbing stairs you can still marvel from the bottom.

The views are just great and you can see the different colours in the water as it crashes against the rocks. On one occasion I took the ferry to Watson's Bay from Circular Quay and it is a very pleasant ride.
