First thing I did when arriving was to walk to the Sydney Opera House designed by Utzon. Then I walked on into the Botanic gardens. I probably spent a good 1.5 - 2 hours on the walk simply because it was so beautiful and varied. The botanic gardens also have different sections, which are worth checking out

If you have only a short time in Sydney you really have to do the Opera house and the Botanic gardens.They are a must do!
A lovely view, easy walk, lovely plants but the closer to lunch we got the more joggers were about. Go early and relax.
A lovely walk for all ages & not to hard - the only draw back is the gates don't open to walk all the way along the waterfront in the week until 7am, not good for all those early morning walkers or runners
Nothing bad to say, best do it on a sunny day and take a picnic and enjoy yourself. Very easy walk with plenty of stops on the way.
