My daughter loved this experience so much she still calls it "her farm". I guess that is true when you basically have the place to yourself for the afternoon. We visited on a Wednesday afternoon and had the place to ourselves once the few school groups left for the day. The staff could not be more accommodating - asking us what we wanted to do during our visit and making it happen. Mark was particularly helpful arranging for my daughter to feed the baby animals and then setting up the cow for her to milk on her own. He was extremely patient with her and she loved the whole experience. My daughter loved the interaction with the animals and all the animals she was able to see during the visit. She cannot wait to go back. We were lucky enough to have an Entertainment Book voucher for buy one get one free entry but we felt we had gained so much more from the afternoon. We will definitely be back.

Myself and my husband took our two kids aged 1 and 4 to Calmsley and we absolutely loved it. We found the staff to be extremely friendly and knowledgeable and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great day. All the shows were entertaining fun to see. Even though there was 4 school excursions happening on the same day it was so well organised that we didnt miss out on a thing due to the massive numbers. I would highly recommend to anyone.

Have to say what a great day out for the family this place was! The last time I went there was when the council owned it, and you could see why they owned it and all the freebies that were given out is probably why, however this time round entry was a little dearer than last time, but what a difference having new owners have made... We even tried the food, much better than last time too and great value....The kids, 13, & 6 absolutely loved it, and being so closed to Sydney we only had a short drive up the M7 to get there, great day out and nice clean facilities and picnic area...We had a great day out....

Great place to take the kids
Not too far from Sydney City
With great healthy animals for the kids to interact with
The working dog show, seemed a bit boring
Great info for older kids, if her microphone was working, we could hear it better
But for the younger kid it was boring, too much talking and not enough action, in my opinion.
Great layout, and kids loved it
Although we bought the tickets to the tractor ride, we could not stay any longer and missed the tractor ride time.Sadly they refused to refund our money on the tractor ride which I felt was a bit rude.

This is the ideal place to go with the kids. Nice and compact so the kids don't get bored, animal talks by staff, plenty of tables to eat. Would recommend that you bring your own food as the shop has limited choice and pricey for what you get. My only negative is that since it has changed from Fairfield City Farm to Calmsley Hill entry prices have increased and to be honest, nothing has changed to warrant the price increase. This is a shame as what made the old Fairfield City Farm so great was that it was affordable to keep going back again and again and again.
