“Very Pleasant walk inside a city, beautiful trees, fountain, and memorial”
Reviewed 26 July 2014

Hyde park is surround by the Sydney city center and it is a wonderful green space. Many of the trees are big, old and impressive. There are fountains at both ends but the one at the north is very pretty. And the walk to the other end where the Anzac memorial is quite nice.

“Lovely in Winter”
Reviewed 15 July 2014

Hyde Park is a beautiful park in the city. We visited early in the morning, while the path lights were on, which gave me some very wonderful photographs. It's a wonderful place to sit with a coffee and watch the world go by. The fountain is a great place to sit in the sun and relax. Circling the fountain for photos, and a rainbow will be caught in the water. A truly relaxing place in the city

“Great in Summer or Winter”
Reviewed 12 July 2014

This park is very safe and beautiful. In the summer its lovely to just sit and relax on the grass, have a picnic or read and in winter its nice for a stroll especially as it is less busy. The fountain has recently been restored and looks great. There's often people performing and lots of events held here. If you go late at night there's a fair few curious possums about too!

“Photography and quality time”
Reviewed 2 July 2014 via mobile

Absolutely stunning scenery. Don't miss it. Take your fav book or your traveling partner and enjoy a walk anytime of the day. There is live music, cafés and restaurants on the opposite side, and why not book a hotel in the same area? If you can afford a sensational scene from your balcony, it won't be a water of money. Oh and a tip, circle the fountain in the middle to find the rainbow!

“TakeTime Out to Enjoy”
Reviewed 23 June 2014

The landscapers who designed Sydney did a fantastic job in preserving so much park area (as well as the nearby Botanic Gardens). Just take a walk through, or sit and read a paper or book, or just sit and enjoy. Also in Hyde Park is the War Memorial.

If you have time carry on down Macquarie Street to he Opera House and around the waterfront to Woolloomooloo
