“Stunning Newport Beach”
Reviewed 7 July 2014

Newport Beach never fails to take my breathe away when I look at to the horizon. There is a great walk along from Newport to Bilgola beach. There a real friendly vibe and access to great food options.

“Perfect in all aspects”
Reviewed 30 March 2014

Newport beach is long, not too busy with big grassy areas and a play area and sea pool. You can catch a surf here or just take a easy swim between the flags. There is ample parking, much of it free and a great variety of places to eat even a Coles supermarket that caters for those who want a sandwich or fruit salad. The shops are in a short strip with some trendy boutiques and coffee nooks , excellent asian eateries and weirdly 7 pizza joints! If your visiting from over seas catch the L90 bus from the city, its a long but pleasant cheap way to see the northern beaches.

“Tranquil beach just outside of Sydney centre”
Reviewed 4 November 2013

I stopped here for a few moments to take a couple of photos on the way down from Palm Beach. The sand was just like in Palm Beach; warm, light brown and soft.

However, unlike Palm Beach, the shops and cafes were not that close and you need to cross the road and walk a bit to get to them.

Situated abt.15 miles/24 Ks. north of Sydney city on the beautiful northern beaches area. The northern beaches are the most scenic part of Sydney and Newport Beach is one of abt.15 lovely beaches.Worth spending a full day to see them all.

“A good family beach”
Reviewed 15 August 2013

This is a popular beach within close proximity to the main road. We lived in Sydney for a year and would often stop here on the way back from Palm Beach (Summer Bay)
