Owner description: Circular Quay is a colorful port where ferries and cruise ships board and depart, and boat watching can be as good a pastime as people watching. While street performers entertain outside, those wanting a more cultural experience can head into the Museum of Contemporary Art where a sculpture garden on the roof is as much a view as the waterways below.

“VIVID made it special”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 May 2014

Not normally my favourite part of Sydney - on one hand it is a hub with the ferry terminals, train station and nearby Harbour Bridge and Opera House but on the other hand, the Cahill Expressway has changed the beauty of it.
However VIVID has brought it to life in the most wonderful way - - the colour and light show has brought out the best of Sydney and the Quay has been the centre of it all.

“This is Sydney”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 May 2014

Circular Quay is Sydney in my head. You have the Opera House, Royal Botanic Gardens, the Sydney Harbour Bridge and The Rocks all right next to Circulay Quay. The ferries take you everywhere, alot of restaurants. Just a place you must attend.

“Close to The Rocks”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 May 2014

Terrific views of the harbour, opera house, bridge…which gives you a totally different perspective. Most cruise ships leave from the terminal there so its always interesting if there is one thats just arrived - or about to leave. The restaurants are expensive but thats true of most of Sydney. But here, you pay for the view! There are usually buskers in the area, some really worth listening to - or maybe a street artist. You can easily walk to The Rocks area from here where the restaurants are a bit less pricey.
