Great hidden gem located at the back of the busy Kings Cross area. Got the Grd Floor room for 3Nights. Well appointed cozy room & ensuite bathroom. Basic kitchen comes with cooking utensils (pot and pans), you can cook your own meals here as nearby there is a small Coles supermarket (opposite of Holiday Inn) to get all your ingredients from. Or you can opt to dine out at the food places/cafes along the main street. Great service from front desk as I had emailed them earlier to inquire on room type and directions to the Lodge. The in house cafe seems to have lots of ppl coming in for their daily breakie. Kings Cross train station is just 5 mins away by foot. Would definately return and recommend this to everyone.

Room Tip: Rooms located at the back of the Lodge would have better noise insulation.

This lodge surprise me. It is well located, very clean and the staff is friendly. ?The rooms are small but they are just what you need for a weekend.
They have a good cafe at the front of the hotel which offers breakfast and light meals.

Room Tip: Go for the bigger rooms which are located at the back of the lodge, in this way you will avoid the noise of the street

Superb value for money! Very helpful staff and clean great rooms. Location is in middle of busy Kings Cross so easy access to all bars and restaurants whilst still nice and quiet in rooms. My second Sydney Lodge and both have been superb. Not sure why you would need to pay more money to go anywhere else in the city.

Bargain price for Sydney for the inclusions, ie double room with own nice modern bathroom and aircon. Seems expensive to me being from Brisbane, but it seems that is Sydney. It even has a kitchen downstairs if you want to cook and save money.
Rooms are basic but nice and clean. Bed was a double which seemed tiny compared to the usual queen, and noise from the hall as people came back through the early hours of the morning woke us. Is in a quiet street but right near Kings Cross station and a main street for nightlife.

Room Tip: Try and get room at end of hall as ours was near the front door and heard everyone walking past.

We stayed in the cheapest single basement room and found the room to be great value for money! It had all the amenities we needed, was in a great location right next to King's Cross Station and the staff were very friendly and helpful! For the money we paid, I couldn't fault it!

Room Tip: The basement rooms can be quite dingy and let in hardly no light but we're perfect for us who we're simply using the room as a place to sleep.
