We always have breakfast here when in The Rocks. Great atmosphere, food and price. Friendly people. Lovely out in the garden.

“Little Gem”
Reviewed 4 September 2013

This cafe does not look inviting but the food and the service are excellent. The gentlemen who owns it cooks the food and trys to provide you with the best meal he can. He is very polite and helps tourist with direction with out later complaining.

If you are in the rocks you should try this cafe as an alternative some some of the overpriced ones.

“G'day cafe”
Reviewed 15 July 2013

The name should have alerted two very tired 10k runners from Sydney.everywhere else was packed and we were in need of rest and and replenishment. We asked if they could make a vegetarian omelette since eggs were being served with every other customers order.. With a reply of yes but ts not on our menu that should have been the signal to run.. But we had been running for an hour during our 10k we just sat with our coffee and waited. Two plates of diced up cheap vegetables glued together with cheap cheese with two eggs scrambled in the middle.. Yuk. And to make it even worse they charged $16 per scrambled mess. On our way home we were discussing our experience and a true local of the area interjected to tell us that none of the locals go there any more.. Enough said. Service was rough too.

“Keep walking”
Reviewed 11 June 2013

Terrible. Smelt when entering. Staff member caused me not to buy food. One member in our group said his sandwich left a very bad taste.
This area of Sydney is very popular with tourists & eating places should have higher standards.

“The last straw has been drawn”
Reviewed 29 April 2013

I work around the corner and have lately been going here for a cheap takeaway lunch. Last week we wanted to simply order two burgers and two small chips, and to save them produce, asked for the burgers without tomato and beetroot as we do not like or eat that anyway. We were told we cannot have chips because they are too busy, and they are still going to put tomato and beetroot on the burgers because they are too busy. I always feel like I am an inconvenience to them even when I am just ordering one thing. After these last few visits I think it will be easier to say I am happier to spend a bit more money to go somewhere else.
