One of a special occasion - the restaurants overlooks Blackwattle Bay in sydney with a great view of ANzac Bridge (and if you are there at night you will see the odd illuminated tour boat pass by from the nearby wharf), the restaurant is stylish but restrained as if it does not have to show off its style. The staff are attentive and friendly and the food...wow! Mostly seafood and all superbly cooked with fresh good ingredients. The snapper pie was the best i've ever had and the chunky 'crunchy on the outside but soft in the middle' chips were a it even with my health conscious wife. Desserts are also good and the wine selection is extensive. What else can I say ? I would have loved to try some oyster but at $4.20 to $6.00 each (!) this was one treat I'd do without given that the fish market opposite reminded me that a limited but just as fresh selection was available for around a dollar each. The bill is on the pricey side but for that's why this is a place for a special memorable experience rather than your weekly dinner at the local.

Gorgeous location in Sydney, brilliant waitstaff - our waiter Brad was professional, efficient and friendly. Snapper pie is to die for. Can't wait to go back and get it again. Oh and the caviar. Highly recommended.

My partner and I dined here last Saturday evening at around 8.30pm. We had a lovely evening view of the city. We started with a dozen of their freshly shucked oysters. Our waitress helped us decide which ones to order as per our tastes (we usually prefer sydney rock oysters but it was nice to try other species' also!). My partner had the famous snapper pie while I opted for the Barramundi, both absolutely delicious. We shared the banana souffle, a perfect finish to a wonderful dinner.
Can't wait to come back and try their other items!

Visited this restaurant for the first time on a Friday night. The location on the water is good and very inviting and the valet parking a good idea given the difficult parking in the surrounding residential area.

Even with a very busy Friday night the service was very friendly, polite, attentive and efficient and our needs were met without it being overbearing.

Now for the food, as far as we were concern it was excellent and very well presented. Had a sampling of oysters as a pre-starter ( they were very fresh and delightful) followed by Yellowfin Tune for starters and John Dory and Mahi Mahi for mains. Enjoyed every mouthful!!!!

Didn't really need it but had desert anyway and were again presented with delightful and delicious dishes which were totally enjoyed.

Overall an excellent evening and would happily go back again and recommend the restaurant to friends.

We went here for a celebration dinner, just two people and at the early sitting. The food was good but for the cost I expect a little more food and or accompaniment on the plate. The outlook in the evening at the window table was great but No Linen? this is not a bistro or cafe. At the early sitting the table is agreed to be vacated at 20.15 so if they want to achieve that agreement the service needs to be smooth and attentive from the start, here they failed miserably, with the menu, the ordering, the wine, the service to the table, and then attempting to removing plates as they were finished. Sorry please wait until we both are finished our meal. We were well finished by 20.00 had called for the bill and the sat and waited and waited, so in the end got up at 20.15 and proceeded to the counter to pay the bill, and waited again. Forget the valet parking as they just park you in the school beside the venue and it is not secure or attended, park yourself in the same street save the cash and walk the 20 meters.
