One of a special occasion - the restaurants overlooks Blackwattle Bay in sydney with a great view of ANzac Bridge (and if you are there at night you will see the odd illuminated tour boat pass by from the nearby wharf), the restaurant is stylish but restrained as if it does not have to show off its style. The staff are attentive and friendly and the food...wow! Mostly seafood and all superbly cooked with fresh good ingredients. The snapper pie was the best i've ever had and the chunky 'crunchy on the outside but soft in the middle' chips were a it even with my health conscious wife. Desserts are also good and the wine selection is extensive. What else can I say ? I would have loved to try some oyster but at $4.20 to $6.00 each (!) this was one treat I'd do without given that the fish market opposite reminded me that a limited but just as fresh selection was available for around a dollar each. The bill is on the pricey side but for that's why this is a place for a special memorable experience rather than your weekly dinner at the local.
