This is a must for all chocolate lovers but it's a good thing I don't live here as I think my waistline and dress size would increase quite dramatically. They have waffles, sundaes, gorgeous little cakes and of course a huge variety of Lindt chocolate balls - a much wider variety than you get in the boxes from the local supermarket. It's pretty pricey though, so along with the expanded waistline, I would go broke too. But for the occasional treat, go for it!

We arrived at 920 pm to be told by staff there was a 30 minute delay in kitchen ( only two other tables) but could do takeaway straight away. Hmmmm ...... we selected the take away route and sat at their tables to enjoy our chocolate hit. Wasn't the same as heated chocolate fondue but passable. Whilst we sat there we noted the kitchen wasn't working rather cleaning to enable their prompt departure at 10. Really ?! If you dont want to work the hours get out of hospitality.
Moral: Don't include this cafe in your desert plans after dinner.

The cafe is a fantasy land for rich chocolate lovers, a bi expensive but understandable for the quality and the high reputation this outlet gained in Australia and worldwide. A good experience and loads of sugar!

We visited on a weekend. The place was packed and service was as good as they could manage. We wanted to sit inside but the white walls were COVERED in small flies - the place so needs a clean. Hot chocolate was great, ice cream yummy and macarons delish. The chocolate cake was revolting - dry and tasteless. The chocolate balls on the plate had melted long before they reached us (it's Aussie summer so they need to take that into account). Overall we were a bit disappointed, especially as we had such a great trip to Guylian (keep walking for 5 minutes) the week before.

This is a must do for any chocolate lover. I always make a B line for this cafe when I'm in Sydney. Impeccable desserts, smooth coffee and a great mixed menu for friends who aren't as chocolate savvy! Excellent customer service and attention to detail. The chocolate shop offers exquisite unique items sold only there which always goes down a treat with friends on my return! They have dog friendly outdoor seating too and were very welcoming of my little pooch!
