The tea shrine is located along Gap road right near the 24 hour shop.
If you like tea, then you need to come and have a look as they have a huge range here.

Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, really thoughtful food choices for vegetarians. Lovely milk shakes and juices. I think it only opens during the day which is a shame - had a really good tofu nuggets in a honey sauce, nicely presented with rice. Tables inside or in a courtyard cooled by water mist. Next to a really good 2nd hand bookshop.

Tom yum soup is really delicious. My husband who is a meat eater likes the dim sims. Lots of iced teas and normal teas

We had a delightful lunch here. There is indoor and outdoor seating, which is basic but nice.

Extensive tea menu, and you can also purchase teas for home use.

Staff was friendly, and service was quick and efficient. When our meals arrived, I asked for some soy sauce, which they then charged me for (after our table had just paid $50 for lunch), which was a bit off putting. So we paid the 50 cents and got our two tablespoons of soy sauce. A bit strange!

Enjoyed the teas and loved being able to have yummy vegetarian food. Would definitely go back next time we are in Alice. Maybe next time they'll splash out and offer soy sauce as part of the dining experience!! LOL

This place is about a ten minute walk from the CBD and is definitely worth it!
