The bus picked us up from our hostel around 5 PM and brought us back after dark.

Passionate and in a very fascinating way Chris told us about kangaroos, with personal anecdotes, lots of detailed kangaroo things worth knowing, why and how about the sanctuary, the traffic issue, how to return joeys back to the wild, Roger the kangaroo, and more.
Meanwhile we could see the kangaroos close by including the pensioned Roger.
The kangaroos did get food because the land could not give enough for the group after 6 month of no rain.
Tourists could carry two joeys during the tour to give the joeys the feeling of being carried by their kangaroo mother.

This tour was the very best highlight of our visit to the outback and I am very glad that I turned my travel schedule the way that we could join these kangaroos.

If you did not care about kangaroos before, you will after meeting Chris.

That is The most impressive place I have ever been!
Sanctuary is a place created by passion of a incredible person - Brolga, who gave his life to rescue kangaroos.
When you'll be in Alice Spring's then definitely you should book a tour to Sanctuary.

A must visit whilst in Alice. Brolga is the perfect host imparting so much information and his passion for what he does really does come across and is infectious. From being picked up by the courtesy bus, to cuddling a couple of Joeys, meeting 'Roger' the famous (ex) Alpha Male to the rest of the Kangaroo family whilst Brolga is escorting you around the sanctuary is brilliant. You won't be disappointed with a visit. Take a jumper as it can get chilly once the sun has set.
