“Lovely food”
Reviewed 17 June 2014

We had dinner twice at the Arnguli Grill during our stay at Uluru. The food was lovely and the staff very friendly. None of the restaurants were cheap at the resort but the quality of the food (especially the seafood), the staff and atmosphere made this restaurant the best value.

“Food and service was amazing!”
Reviewed 17 June 2014 via mobile

During our stay at Desert Gardens, Arnguli was one of the best memories. our waiter, Simon, made us feel so welcome and his wine suggestions were amazing. Steak was cooked to perfection. A different sort of music would be nice as it was not very suitable but for food and service its 10/10

“Make a reservation”
Reviewed 14 June 2014

Great for a 5-star dinner while visiting Yulara Resort, make sure you make a reservation though as it gets quite busy. Easy to find in the building behind the Desert Gardens reception. Staff were friendly and the service was very good, checking to see that our meals were as expected, topping up our glasses etc, and the time to wait for our meals was good, not too long. And the atmosphere is conducive to romantic dinners - quiet, with good spacing between the tables.

The menu has some interesting choices, we selected an Angus steak and macadamia nut crusted salmon as mains, and ordered 2 sides - thick cut chips and a rocket and parmesan salad. All of these were perfectly cooked - medium rare steak as requested, and the salmon the same, although I was offered my own choice of how I would like it done. And the portions sizes were good.

However it's not cheap. With 2 serves of the excellent chocolate and blood orange gelato our food came to $135 - sides are about $10 each, the mains around $40 each. But we were on holiday. But it's worth a meal here if you're spoiling yourself and want some great food.

“What a wonderful meal”
Reviewed 13 June 2014

My husband and I dined here during our stay in Yulara. We were not expecting the standard of dining that we experienced. We had an entree, main meal, shared a dessert and had four glasses of wine and coffee between us and the cost was around $200.00 aud. Whilst the price was not cheap, the standard was very good. The presentation of the food was beautiful, our waiter was friendly and attentive and the flavours were skillfully combined.
