A thoroughly inspiring and educational tour of Lichfield. This is a very intimate tour, limited to 7, and the only indigenous owned and guided tour of the park. Our guides knowledge of the plants and bush tucker was authentic and engaging.

If you are interested in aboriginal culture and you want to learn more about their history, they way of living and even more about the problems they have faced and still face today this is the best tour ever! Aboriginal culture is close to nature and you will be shown some of the different ways of surviving even in a such difficult environment like desert. You will have a delicious lunch under the trees after swimming in the creek near by and you will visit some very beautiful places in the Litchfield National Park. And all this under guidance of the amazing Tess who comes from the area and her family have lived in this places for ages. Tess you blew my mind!!

The small group and genuinely authentic nature of this tour made it a highlight of my trip. Tess and Greg are very friendly and knowledgeable about many topics in the region as well as the obvious, indigenous history and culture. I appreciated the down to earth and upfront approach where we were free to ask any questions and I mean any! These are really nice people and that made the day most educative and enjoyable. Thanks guys, I loved my day with you.

Greg and Tess provide an exceptional tour of the Northern Territory and Lichfield Park. They provide an endless knowledge of aboriginals, nature, and Australia. Their ability to make you feel comfortable allows you to ask anything and proceed at such an easy pace. The gourmet lunch provided in the bush is an exceptional representation of native proteins.

We could never have read enough books to learn as much as we did in one day. But the best was actually experiencing the NT. We haven't looked at Australia the same since our tour. It's as if our eyes were opened to what Australia really offers.

Thank you from Houston!

If you're looking for a tour of Litchfield National Park, take one that'll give you an insight from an indigenous point of view so you'll learn a lot more about the area.

Our group of 4 had the best personal, relaxed, day tour of Litchfield National Park with Tess and Greg of NT Indigenous Tours. Tess was a fountain of knowledge, naturally, as she took us through the various tourist sights and waterfalls in the Park and at the same time she so generously and warmly shared her family history and stories of growing up on the family property that's literally in the backyard of Litchfield! It was most interesting to learn about life from an indigenous point of view, to learn about the flora and fauna that's abundantly available in the bush in Litchfield. Tess assured us many of the fruits and meats taste so good it's "like going to heaven"!! We learned about bush tucker, had the opportunity to lick the bum (yes, bum!) of the Green Tree Ant (tasted of lemon juice!) and then we got a dose of mineral off a termite mound (rich in iron and minerals!). The multi-talented Tess was very adept at making freshly braided bracelet from the palm fronds. Tess later turned chef, cooking and serving a delicious lunch of grilled barramundi with a great salad, (skipped the Skippy meat and gave the Croc a wide berth) followed with cheese and fresh fruits, and freshly brewed coffee and tea... right on her family's property in a cool, shady spot by the creek that flowed through the property, very relaxing!

We had a great day out that'll be remembered for years to come, and we all learned so much at the same time. Thank you for the experience and your friendship, Tess and Greg !
