The front desk was so helpful to make stay really good. Central to the downtown area, easy to find your way around.
Restaurant only open for breakfast but there are lots of restaurants very close by. Excellent price value!
- Free Wifi
A recent stay at Darwin central resulted in substantial vehicle damage caused be the hotel valet parking . In general the hotel is fine floor staff are great.
However the hotel has refused to respond to ether email or phone calls
very pore customer relations.
A group of Vietnam/Malaysian Vets booked 30 rooms over 4 days, for a reunion over Anzac weekend. The booking was made over 8 months in advance, we were quoted $187 per room per night. On arrival at the hotel we discovered that other guests who were not with our group were only paying $95. On questioning the Management over this we were told "that was the price when you booked".
We did not expect our bills to be halved but something would have been appreciated. The day Manager was quite rude. This hotel will not be getting any more business from this group. If you are doing a group booking, don't do it in advance, you'll only get ripped off.
After a week of traveling Alice Springs, Uluru and The Ghan, we were ready for a good location from which to wander some shopping area and the waterfront. This was a perfect location for that. The buffet breakfast was included in our package and there was a good variety to choose from. You could even order eggs cooked your style rather than the scrambled variety that was on the buffet. We were able to book a last minute tour at the front desk the evening before the tour; the front desk personnel were friendly and helpful. Our room was very comfortable and clean with great a/c, a MUST in Darwin. A hair dryer was in the room, which hasn't been the case in many Australian hotels.
After booking my room for $187 for an Anzac Day reunion I found the rooms were going for around $95 dollars I approached the management and was basically told buyer beware
I hope this attitude puts of others. Taking advantage of veterans is low.
The service was average and the room was about a three standard.
We stayed for 4 nights over Easter and we were really impressed with the price we paying per night, considering its central location. The hotel rooms were clean, comfortable and best of all was the central location of the hotel to the bars and eateries in the CBD. Can't fault it.
